I arrived at Doncaster Parkhill with my husband for about 3:50pm and was shown to my room straight away, waiting for me on my bed was a personalised letter which was lovely and also a posh gift set of bath and shower gels. A nurse and healthcare assistant came in to take my obs and explained what was going to happen step by step and offered reassurance as I was a little nervous. Mr Kazzazi came to see me at 4:30pm to draw on me and take photo’s for my file at which I was mortified to see how bad my boobs actually looked as I hadn’t really looked at them in detail for some time because it got me down so much. They looked so empty and my left one sagged quite alot! . Kazzazi ran through what he was going to do and then explained that he was running and hour late so I wouldn’t be going down till 6 which I didn’t mind one bit. At 5:45pm the healthcare assistant came to collect me and we walked to theatre, they laid me down on a bed and started to ask me about the things I would generally be doing if I was at home and before I knew it I was waking up back in my room with my husband. I couldn’t even remember going to sleep lol. I wasn’t in pain but did feel like I had an elephant sat on my chest.
I’m 2 days post op and feeling great but I’m making sure I keep on top of the pain relief. I’ve got my follow up appointment on Tuesday morning , Kazzazi will take my strapping off because at the minute all you can see are my nipples lol which look like a pair of eyes peeking out . I’m guessing at the minute they are looking around a 34dd but who knows because they are strapped quite tight , I still need to go buy some sports bra’s which I’m hoping to do either later on today or deffo tomorrow.
