My op date was 20th of May 2016, admission time was 11am.
So i arrived at 11am and had my pregnancy test done and slipped into the sexy medical socks and pinafore, i was taken down at 12pm and came round at about 2:30pm fully. All i remember is being wheeled in whilst drifting in and out of sleep whilst shaking uncontrollably due to the local anethstetic they had given me. Other than that i cannot remember a thing apart from talking the nurses ears off and finally waking and eating my tea and toast. I was on my way home by around 3pm.
When i got back i felt completely fine and was just a little bit out of it, that night i had the best 9 hours sleep that i had ever had! The next night was very similar and i was able to spee comfortably with my v pillow.
So im currently 4 days post op and cannot believe how lucky i have been, i have had no pain at all and have been able to sleep through the night only getting up when i need the toilet. The only problem i have had is with the feeling of a tugging sensation in my left stitching however relieved this pain when putting ice packs on my boobs.
I have gone back to work today because i feel perfectly normal and to be honest i could have gone back yesterday as i felt fine. I work in an office job so chances of my straining myself are very limited and to be frank i feel much better moving around.
I have attached a photo below and am wearing an 34E sports bra which is too tight.
