Here’s my story;
I went in to Fitzroy Hospital as a pathetic 34a. The nurses took me into my room where I got changed and waited. After a couple of hours I was taken down to the prep room. The anaesthetist told me my arm was going to feel heavy and I would get a funny taste in my mouth. Then I woke up! The anaesthetic was so smooth and I woke up absolutely fine.
I got taken into my room and all I kept doing was looking down my gown to make sure it was all real! I was very very sleepy and quite nauseous but I had a couple of snoozes and an anti sickness injection which worked a treat. I was allergic to the strapping so my surgeon removed it so I’ve only got light dressing underneath.
This is the best decision I’ve ever made and although they are massive and swollen I know I’ll be more in love when they settle.
