I thought i would give a quick update as I feel like I may have turned a corner today! I’ve been having a love hate relationship with my new boobs, but I’m 8 weeks today and I suddenly feel a lot happier as if over night! Lol They’ve dropped a lot, they’re still pretty hard though so I hope they will soften a lot more but I guess that’ll take a couple more months or longer to happen properly. I also hope they start to look less cone shaped from my side profile!! Only regret is I wish I would have asked for bigger implants but I honestly thought 350cc would be huge on me but they’ve shrunk quite a lot now the swelling has gone! It’s such a roller coaster ride, I thought I would instantly love my new boobs but I think it’s such a long process with under the muscle implants! I’m now looking forward to the 3 month mark and 6 month mark as other girls progress pics have made me excited to see my final results!! xx
I’m 10 weeks post op today and feel the same some days i think they look fairly big and others i think i wish i had gone bigger. They literally do look different day by day also depends on clothing.
I had 300cc unders and the last 3 days have had a tender feeling in the top of the implant and side of the implant. This is the side that hasn’t dropped as much as the other.
I am hoping this will settle I’m putting ot down to not wearing a bra to sleep in as my post op nurse said that i can wish i hadn’t done this as didn’t have this tenderness before this did it 2 nights but now back wearing my bra 24/7 I’m scared i have moved the implant higher up out or the pocket 🙁 I’m maybe just worrying to much will have to see how it goes if no better next week will speak to MYA.
How are you? Have you had any symptoms? Xx
Hi girls, do any of you have any rippling when you bend over/lift arms towards the outside of your boobs (armpit side)? I had 350cc unders also and have a lot of rippling to the sides? xx
@spark I’m still wearing my sports bra at night, my nurse didn’t actually say I need to but she didn’t tell me I could stop either so I’m going to carry on wearing it until I see my consultant at my 12 week appointment.
I still do get days when I feel sore and tender, it’s mainly underneath (around the scars) and on my side boob.
My recovery was pretty tough to be honest, i seemed to be in pain for weeks, only now am i starting to feel more like myself , however I still don’t feel like my boobs are ‘part of me yet, I guess this will take a while.
The nurse said I can wear any bra I want at my 6 week check up and that i can sleep on my side but when I do sleep on my side it feels tender as they’re still hard and I can feel the implants being pushed together so I roll back on my back after about half an hour!! I’m also terrified I’m stopping them from dropping further into their pockets or stopping them from softening when sleeping on my side, and it’s just pretty uncomfortable. xx
@liannejr19 no fortunately I don’t have any rippling hun. How many weeks post op are u? How’s everything else other than that, are u liking the look/size of yours?
I’m trying to upload pics but I’m struggling!! xx
@becks17 I’m around 15 weeks PO now babe and unfortunately I have a lot of rippling 🙁 when I bend forward/lean over/lift my arms I can basically see the outline of the implant on the sides closest to my armpits which is a shame because I love them other than that. Size wise I definately would have preferred bigger but its a big improvement from what I had originally! Yours look great bet your over the moon xx
@liannejr19 did u have it 12 week follow up with ur consultant or has it come on since? Do they do anything about rippling to correct it?
Thanks hun, I’m much happier than I was about mine a couple of weeks back although I have boob greed as they’re just smaller than I expected haha I just hope they drop and fluff more so I get some more fullness at the bottom of my breasts so they stop looking quite so pointy/cone like from the side profile….if that sorts itself out I’ll be really pleased with them xx
@becks17 it doesn’t feel as tender but if i bend over or lean forward it feels like the implant moves. I wonder if this is maybe a part of dropping and fluffing. I didn’t have it with my left boob but this one I don’t really have much feeling but my right is over sensitive. I’m going to speak to MYA to just check if it is normal would hate for something to be wrong and I’m leaving it.
How long have you had it for? Xx
Well they hurt for weeks after and then the pain settled down and now my right one feels sore again and I can feel the implant move alot. My right one started to hurt again a couple of days ago. Maybe it’s because I’m right handed and so obviously do most things like lifting etc with my right hand. I was hoovering on the weekend and I felt like I’d over done it but at over 8 weeks post op I thought I would be ok. Just hope it drops more and can’t wait till they stop hurting completely and I can’t feel them anymore!
Let me know how u get on speaking to them xx
Hey lianne you literally have similar stats to me and that’s what I’ve been offered 350cc mod+ unders. Worried they might be to big! And I see most people get offered round hp which I can’t have he said. Have you got any before/after pics at tall that you wouldn’t mind sharing? And what size did you start off as and what size are you now? Sorry for all the questions lol x
