375 overs UHP all done today at Preston dr Mounir ??? Started by: Clare

I was really nervous this morning, hoping everything was going to go ok ! Honestly girls it’s really not bad at all ….. Doctors and nurses were so lovely ! Admission time was 8 and got took down at around 1pm as I was third in the list. Not having food or drink only bothered me for the last hour! Never looked forward to toast so much lol . I had a lovely nurse called Ann and she really made it a great experience for me . She took some noted first thing in the morning, then the anesthetiest came to introduce himself and someone came to check my breathing! Dr Mounir came in to check in the size j had decided in and draw all over me ! That was it until the guy came to get me to take me down! Had my canula put in ( didn’t hurt ) and then he put a couple of saringes in and I was out for the count ! Woke up as if nothing had happened wondering where is was ….. Weirdly I was teary but as soon as I came round I was taken back to my room and my partner was brought back straight away ! The pain honestly is not bad at all just a bit tight and a little bit sore completely manageable !!! I did not have any drains in apparently they don’t do this anymore ?? Had blood pressure taken about 5 times and then given tablets and discharged at 5.30 ! Sorry it’s so long but I just wanted to let everyone know that they don’t need to be worried about the pain ( because I was so worried ) obviously this is overs which is the most straight forward procedure ! So so so happy right now and stuffing my face with Krispy creme donoughts ??
