4 Weeks PO – So Uneven!! 😩 Started by: Andrina

    Hi ladies,

    I need some advice please?!

I’m 4 months post op and my boobs are completely different sizes and my nipples are really uneven.

I had 350cc dual plane with nipple lift in November, and they felt uneven from the start, but I was always told they would settle into place and even out, but it’s not happening.

I saw my surgeon at my 6 week PO appointment (which was actually about 9 weeks due to Christmas) and I’d built myself up about it, but I was expecting my surgeon to say ā€œoh don’t worry it’s just that their setting at different rates, but they’ll catch upā€. But it was quite the opposite, my surgeon was very defensive and the only thing he could say was ā€œyou had asymmetry beforeā€, I fact he barely even looked at my boobs, he said they’re fine and told me to get dressed. But I stopped him and told him I had some concerns. As mentioned he was completely dismissive but said he’d check on them in another 3 months (April) as he also wanted to review my nipple scars.

I just went to take some photos because my nipple scars are very red and inflamed and was genuinely horrified by how uneven my boobs still look.

My left boobs seems to have settled nicely, but my right one doesn’t feel like it’s dropped into place. It’s not filled out in the middle, it feels hard and has less movement when I pull them up and together. And as for my nipple… i paid extra for a lift and they’ve ended up more uneven when they started.

Please someone tell me I’m not going mad, they are bad aren’t they?!

Had anyone else has a similar experience? Or have any advice in pushing for revision surgery?

I’m worried that they’re just going to argue that I was asymmetrical before, but I feel that’s just an excuse they use to get out of everything. I wasn’t really! That’s not why I was there…

    Advice please?!

Andrina, sorry you are so disheartened with ur boobs, if I’m honest I had to look closely to see the nipple asymmetry, I don’t think it is very obvious but I guess it will be to you. A post on here yesterday said how one of her boobs all of a sudden dropped and fluffed at 8 months post op so that could still be to happen for you. I’m told we have to be patient with these new boobs, not easy tho.

I know you mentioned you think your right boob isn’t right but I looked at your photos first and thought that your left has bottomed out- your nipple points upwards when that happens x
( did you mean your right or right side when looking at you??)

Can I ask what surgeon you had?

Thanks Pink Chick for your reassurance!

Mallee- Omg I think you’re right! I hadn’t even considered it before, I thought/think my left looks a lot better than the right. But looking online it does look like it’s bottomed out!!

    Geethma- I had Mr Mahdi
