Super sore but super happy . Dr Giannas is wonderful surgeon , highly recommend . The whole experience went well. Cannot failt anything . Nurses and care at London clinic was amazing . I’ll attach a pic . I get to remove the strapping myself tomorrow x

Hi SHELLY they look fab already. I’m booked in tomorrow with Dr Giannitrapani at preston. My admission is 8am. very nervous so I’m sat here at this time reading other people’s experiences lol hope your recovery goes well xx

@kimmyp I was pretty Drozey after and slept longer in recovery than the actual op time lol . But everyone reacts differently. For a good 3-4 hours I was pretty much out of it . With all the meds . Yes I had dual plane ., which is basically unders . Feeling very sore and tired. But nothing I can’t hamdle with meds and rest . Good luck Hun I’m sure you will be fine xxxx enjoy the rest 🙂

Hi ladies just thought I’d post a quick update. I got here for 8 pretty much went straight to my room got changed did preg test and blood pressure etc then surgeon came straight in and drew on me and the anethasist came in he’s amazing. then they came to get me. felt the tiniest scratchas he put the tube in my hand then an oxygen mask was put over and then I woke up after what seems like 2 mins. didn’t feel sick or anything just a bit sleepy and my mouth tasted a bit weird but that was it. been back in my room ages now had tea and water just eating a sandwich and I’m still waiting to start feeling ill but I don’t at the min. My boobs just feel like when I had my babies I went out and forgot my breastpump so they were sore and felt they might explode lol but they seem to be getting better and don’t feel as bad. I think the breast band is causing more discomfort than my boobs lol don’t even know what size I have yet lol You may have already gone down Emily if not good luck. if been told the anethasist on today is the best and gets the mix perfect that’s why I’m not feeling sick. Hi Emily I’m in day case room 2 hun! I feel good still only eaten half my sandwich my mouth is very dry and I think I might feel a bit sick if I eat more so if left the rest. My boobs don’t feel too bad at all really waiting for someone to come in so I can ask exactly what size I have. one was the tiniest big better before so he may have done slightly bigger in one but he said he may not need to so I’m not sure. They don’t seem too high up either I thought they would be on my neck but they aren’t. Good luck hun hopefully you will go in soon keep us posted ???? it’s really is so simple and quick xxxx

That’s amazing .well done Kimmy 🙂 its an experience ant it ..mine are not as high up as I thought too. Wondering if it was normal , as most new boob pics look high up ?!?. I’m feeling much better than I was yesterday . Still sore but managing with meds . It’s mainlu left side tough ?! Wondering if having soreness one side is ok .
Also yes this compression band is causing abit if hassle too . Do you know if I have to sleep in it ? Emily good luck sweet heart you will be fine .xx

Hi Shelly glad your doing okay do you have antibiotics if so do they make you feel sick at all? If had some in the past that used to make me feel so sick so I’m hoping these don’t! I’m actually on my way home already .ca t belive how easy it’s been in hoping it doesn’t hit me later and I feel terrible. The breast band is more uncomfortable than the boobs lol as far as i know we have to keep it on all the time she said i can losen it a bit sometimes but didnt say i could take it off. said i need to wear it for 30 days. seems like ages! FROM all the things iv read on here it seems you can get all sorts of weird pains and it’s normal for one to feel different or more sore than the other so I think it’s totally nornal. If only looked down at then so far so I don’t know exactly how high they are but they don’t look very high. I’m wondering whether to put that down to have crap muscle time in my chest and having never set foot in a gym lol some girls don’t look as high. think it’s a good thing tho. xx

Kimmy my surgon gave me antibiotics via drip in theatre so I didn’t need to take any home . After the general and morphene wore off to be honest I could feel a lot more discomfort. Just take your meds and you’ll be sleepy . Try to rest first couple days doing nothing much . Iv just managed to have a shallow bath , brush my teeth and wash my face . Took around a hour long lol .
I’m abit if a sesitive sally at the moment . But hopefully you speed through . Oh seeing plenty of water too . Helps flush the meds out and helps feeling less drozey . X

Hi Shelly that’s good then iv got some I have to take 4 a day for 7 days. I just have ibuprofen and paracetamol for pain relief. I’m not good with stronger stuff it makes me feel poorly so I’m hoping ill be lkay with just these. If just taken the first lot as I was starting to feel a bit sore. I’m also worrying about moving like I’m not sure exactly what I can and can’t do I panicked about flushing the loo as I don’t want to pull a stitch or anything. It’s great you been able to freshen up I’m not gonna try yet maybe tomorrow but after a day with no deoderant I must smell pretty bad lol I actually have no strapping at all just the plaster things my bra and breast band. xxx

Finally went to surgery at 5:30pm, 6.5 hour wait. So annoying but hey, I have boobs now! @kimmyp how did you find last night? I barely slept a wink, it’s so difficult sleeping sat up argh! Xxxx

We hello sweetie been thinking about you hope all went well? such a long wait for you hun did you go home after or did you stay? yes sleeping wasn’t fun last night I woke up feeling very sore and struggles to sit myself up. came downstairs at 5am to take some paracetamol and ibuprofen but moving is still hard I’m pretty much sticking to the sofa today I’ll try and move around every so often but not too much it does really hurt. How are you feeling? do you have a breast band mines bloody killing me had to loosen it a bit this morning. I’m meant to keepit on 30 days but hoping the nurse will say less when I see her next week. xxxx

@kimmyp yep all went well! Really was nothing to worry about was it. I actually enjoyed the anaesthetic haha. I’m the same can’t really move much and when I get uncomfortable I dread getting back up to get comfy! Yeah I have the band and I think she said 30 days as well! Which clinic are you at next week? Xx

@emily1108 so glad it went well for you hun I’m at the Birmingham clinic on Tuesday at 11am which are u at ? How do you feel today? I actually slept better last night but I keep sliding down the pillows so woke up on my back so I need to figure out a better way to do my pillows. I still struggle to get up and don’t want to speak to soon but I think I feel a little better than yesterday x x x

@kimmyp Oh I’m in Leeds! Exactly the same, slept better but still woke up every few hours getting frustrated with the pillows haha. I’m the same, don’t think I’ve got much pain today, maybe it’ll get worse in the next few days though eek! Have you had a peek yet?! I darent haha. Xxx

@emily1108 glad you slept a bit better! Yes I’m waiting for it to get bad again lol it’s been better today than yesterday and when I’m moving around it seems to help whenever i sit back again it becomes hard to get up and more painful. Prob gonna have good times and bad but I have read a lot of girls who say day 1 and 2 are the worst then by like day 4 and 5 they feel lots better hoping it goes that way for us! I had a look Tuesday night when I got in and took a quick pic so I can compare in a weeks time but apart from that I haven’t really bothered looking. Don’t want to obsess over anything so early on. I’ll try and post a pic. I haven’t even had a wash yet lol such a tramp I’m just afraid to damage them or something lol xxx

This is mine on Tuesday too . I must say they do look so natural . I was abit shocked that there’s not as high up and solid at the top . My chest plate is quite long , and I suppose My befores dmsat much lower . There is quite a bit of swelling at the sides which you cannot see . I’m happy and cannot complain .., but hoping for a little bit more boob! What’s the process with unders ? Do they look bigger in time ? What do you ladies think ? X

Thanks hun! I hope they don’t take like a year to drop lol I managed to sleep quite well last night I woke up at 6am when my youngest did my partner took the kids downstairs and I pulled off my breast band and stockings and ended up going back to sleep till half 9 lol sitting up is much better and I can move my arms around okay without pain but my boobs themselves feel really tender and the imsisons are feeling a little sore and throbby and itchy. I’m so scared tobpick anything up but my partner goes back to work on Wednesday and I will have the kids by myself. I’m so worried about pulling my stitches open or damaging them. Did you have dissolvable stitches? My notes didn’t say what stitches I have. How old are you little ones? Are you managing okay xxx

That’s good to hear kimmy . Yes I’m definitely getting better each day , in terms of movement . But still sore and heavy . I wouldn’t say pain though . But having the kids back has definitely taken it toll . All the cleaning and tidying after them . They are 3 years and 1 years old .. has been a tough old week . But a life changing one 🙂 x how’s emily getting on ? X

I’m doing good thank you! Went back to work today and coped fine I’m just super tired from being so uncomfortable sat upright! Barely take painkillers anymore only if I need them which isn’t often. I’m obsessed with them I keep looking at them haha. Struggling to get the pen off me though! Xxx

Oh Emily it’s a struggle with the sleeping up right :(((((( my whole back and neck is stiff .. but have dressing off today and was told I can have a shower . Which was the best shower Iv ever had . I’m off the meds too and slowly getting back to my usual mobile self . I’m so in love with mine too . I’ll be in the mirror for ages , turning left and right lol xxx

Hi ladies glad youre both doing well. @emily1108 Im also having a hard time sleeping! Went for my 7 day po yesterday and she said i can lay flat now and i can take off my new dressings tomorrow bit that seems soon i feel worried having nothing on them. Have you guys still got to wear dressings? As for sleeping i was looking forward to laying flat im always a side sleeper but i figured flat is better than sitting up. I couldnt have been nore wrong i woke up on the early hours in agony my boobs and cbest and back all around was so paonful i actually couldnt get up myself so got my v pillow back and sat up went back to sleep and felt lots better after. No more laying flat for me!!! So nervous to move im so worried ill pull the stitches or damage something even tho i can move withoit pain i feel it pullong a bit. I drove today the first time and i could feel it pulling. Hope you girls continue healong well 🙂 xxx
