So this is my gross before pic and my 1 day Post op pics. I’m in love with them already and they’re exactly like I imagined them to be! I hope they don’t change too much now. I’m so glad my surgeon managed to fit the bigger implant in as well. If you have any questions then please feel free to ask xx

They look really good katie!! An i dont even think u will need a lift in 6 months! Your pre op boobs were alot like mine an uplift was never even mentioned to me. I think they are going to look great without xx

@katie I’m not feeling too bad to be honest. It’s just when I try lift myself up or do things like open doors, flush the toilet etc that it hurts. When do you have your surgery? What size are you having?

@laura I think I might get away with not having an uplift too to be honest! I think I might have a nipple lift though cos they feel a bit low at the moment but I want to see how they turn out first once they’ve softened up, to see if it makes any difference xx

My nipples are still really low an im 3wpo, but i havent dropped yet once they do the nipples will go futher up so i think you will be fine once they drop a little xx

They look amazing already I’m booked in with mr Clarke on the 28th , this has just got me excited I’ve been feeling so nervous and anxious the last few days , hope your recovery goes well @katie xx

@laura I was just a bit worried they might not lift that much, the nipples, because I’ve had overs and some girls say they don’t change that much compared to unders which do the whole drop and fluff thing xx

@katie Hearing that’s made me feel so much better I’ve been so bad this week haha , I was originally having 400cc uhp but decided to go up on last consultation too I think either 425 or 430 cant exactly remember the number but was just the next up, just the worry of will I like them imagining something in my own head and hoping it’s the result I get , i will be banashing my bf from the bed too don’t blame you haha x

@charliexbx I’d also done the same. Had my first consultation and went with 400 and 420 high profile. Then did more research on here and decided I wanted to go bigger and also UHP too! All those worries you are feeling are totally normal. I was panicking so much before, thinking that the wrong size implants had been ordered for me. It all went smoothly in the end and I’m sure it will for you too. The staff at the hospital are lovely as well xx

Thanks @katie that’s exactly what I’ve been thinking I hope they have ordered new size not the old, what time was your arrival at the pines? I’ve got 8am just wondering what time I will actually go down , hoping traffics not too busy with it being early xx

@charliexbx I kept emailing my PC to double check the sizes that had been ordered because I was that paranoid! My admission time was 9:30, and I was walking down to surgery by 11:15am. Once your in your room they’ll tell you roughly what time you’ll be going down for surgery. If you’ve to be there at 8:30 then traffic might not be too bad. I had to be there in rush hour traffic but even then it wasn’t too bad. Just allow a little extra time in case of traffic. How far are you coming from? We came from Wakefield and it took us just over an hour to get there xx

@katie that’s not a long wait II hate waiting around specially when I’m nervous, I’m only coming from north Manchester so it shouldn’t take me long will set off a little earlier just incase of traffic , how’s your pain today ? X

@charliexbx it shouldn’t take you too long at all to get there then!
Literally by the time I got shown to my room, unpacked, had my weight checked, signed the forms saw the nurse and surgeon, got changed into my gown, it was time to go down to surgery! So there won’t be much waiting around for you.
I’m scared that I don’t feel any pain at all today! It’s just tightness and if I flex my chest muscle by accident it hurts. The only pain I’ve experienced through all of this is when I had the drains in and it was stinging a bit on my right side. I’ve not even bothered with the pain killers, just antibiotics xx

@katie sounds like your having a really good recovery hope mines like that , I think the drains are the bit I’m worried about most but it’s all gonna be worth it can’t wait for Thursday now you have made me feel

Hi Hun I never even thought about flushing the toilet it even sounds painful!!! I’m booked in with Dr Netri on 19th October, he has ordered 450,475,and 500cc HP partials (as no tissue on top) so it’s whatever he can squeeze in on the day!!! Glad you are feeling ok!!! Xx

@charliexbx everyone recovers at different rates but I’m usually quite quick when it comes to healing. My incisions are starting to feel a bit itchy today which I think is a sign they’re healing already.
It’s the most weird feeling ever when they remove the drains! It’s not painful just a super weird feeling. I’m so excited for you, for Thursday! Make sure you update us with your progress and pics!

@katie I’d definitely say go for the biggest you can get in! You won’t be disappointed at all, especially if you’ve no volume on top. That’s the exact reason I wanted to go bigger, to fill the loose skin out.

@siany you’ll think to yourself why didn’t I have them done sooner! It’s so exciting seeing other people’s before and after photos, it gets you worked up to have your own done! Xx

I will do @katie willl be happy if they look like yours, just out of curiosity did u hear anything frin transform the week up to surgery? I’ve had no contact since I finalised my balance and pre op in august , just my letter with admission time what im having etc… thinking it’s strange I’ve heard nothing but maybe that’s normal and they would be in touch if anything had changed ? x

@charliexbx I didn’t hear anything before my op, just got my admission letter with my time on it, but I already knew what it was from when I first booked my bed anyway. I’ve had the nurse ring me first thing this morning to arrange my 1 week check up so I go on Friday to get my dressings changed. They say no news is good news so I’m sure everything is fine. Just turn up on Thursday, that’s all you need to do 🙂 xx

Thanks @katie Yh I assumed it’s was most probs normal if I’ve not heard anything it was my partner that mentioned it coz he’s taking time off work, did you have some one go with you are they allowed to wait in your room when you go down? I already have my nurse appointment for the 6th to get dressings changed , how are you feeling today hope it’s still going good for you xx

@charliexbx I went down with my boyfriend too and he was allowed to wait in the room while I went down for surgery. They’re really good like that. I think visitors are allowed to stay until 9:30pm. He left at about 4pm though to have a night round Manchester with his mate while I stayed in over night lol
When did they arrange your appointment to get your dressings changed then?
I don’t feel too bad today, it’s first thing on a morning I feel the most uncomfortable. My boobs feel really tight and achy. Then once I’m up and moving it’s like they loosen off a bit xx

@katie That’s good was worried he would have to leave and come back , I’m only a day case but I’m sure if I stayed overnight my fella would do the same haha , I got my appointment in the pre op she let me pick my time so I had someone to bring me and when my kids was in school , your recovery sounds rly good hope mines same x

Are u in pain x

I’m goung to take some more on Friday when I’m 1 week post op and post them. It’s not so much pain, more tightness and aching that I feel. Is 420 the biggest the surgeon offered you? Xx

@katiep369 Thankyou I’ll add u now , okay darl I totally understand , Deffo send pics in your own time hunny! , yeah I had to push him he Defo won’t go no bigger he offered me a smaller size and said because one of my boobs are narrow than the other it limits the size of the implant , then I managed to push him up one last time to 420 x
