Hi girls. Just thought I would share my experience with you 🙂 & I hope you all have a pain free recovery like I have..
I had breast enlargment done last Wednesday (290cc XH profile partial teardrops). Admission was 7.30am, got there for 7.20am, was taken straight to my room, met the nurse and then the anaesthetist came and seen me and soon after I seen my surgeon. I was left for a while and just read magazines and before I knew it I was taken down to theatre at 11am.. I can’t believe how quick the morning went.
I wasn’t nervous at all and I’ve been under general aneasthetic a few times so that doesn’t bother me either. If anyone is nervous about being put to sleep then honestly don’t be, it’s actually a nice feeling!!
I woke up shivering so all my muscles were tensed which wasn’t the nicest feeling but other than that I felt fine. Went back to my room and slept for couple of hours. I couldn’t believe I wasn’t in any pain, I didn’t feel sick and even when I got up to go toilet I didn’t feel faint or anything. I was shocked at how well I felt. I stayed in over night and I didn’t once have to take any pain killers, but I am very good coping with pain! The only thing was it was a bit uncomfortable sleeping upright.
I’m now 5 days post op and I still haven’t taken any pain killers, I haven’t felt or been sick at all. I have a compression band on at the moment which is very tight and my boobs look very small. But I was absolutely completely flat chested before my op so anything has got to be better than how I was! Do you think they will get bigger once I have this strapping off??? Xx
