5weeks post op still not able to shower

Just been back to see I was able to shower, been told I can’t shower for another week. I’ve now been told it was down to smoking? Anyone had same problem??

No doesn’t cause any issue with operation. I just wasn’t healing so they gave me the excuse of because I smoked it would take longer to Heal
