Has anyone gone for there 6 week check up and not been allowed to get measured or wear normal bras Just yet?? Just wondering before I get excited as I’ve only 1 week Monday to wait. Yet wondering what likely hood is I won’t be allowed to wear normal bras or get the all clear to lay on my side. So ladies help 🙂
I had my 6WPO check up on Monday and I’m not allowed to wear normal bras for another 4-6 weeks. The nurse said that it wasn’t anything to really worry about it’s just because my implants are taking a while to settle which she said isn’t uncommon. My boobs are still really hard and when I’ve tried bras on they aren’t very flattering for this reason. My healing process has been delayed slightly as I also had an infection at around 3WPO. If your recovery has been fairly straight forward and you boobs have started drop and fluff then you should be absolutely fine to wear normal bras and get measured after your 6 weeks xxx
Hi Natalie I had my check on Wednesday all ok but told to avoid wear an underwire for the time being even though my scars are healing well. Giving my scars the opportunity to fully heal but I could go and get measured have a bath and sleep on my side. One of my boobs are slightly behind the other is still a tiny bit higher and firmer than my left one so I was really nervous expecting to be told I had to wait a little longer. Good luck 😉 x
Was you able to bath then Shannon?? Or aren’t you allowed to do that either??
Also sleep on your side I’m 5 week on Monday and I don’t think mine have dropped or anything
