So i have had my 6 week check booked for tomorrow since 1 week before my op, so its been booked for 7 weeks now. Been looking forward to it for ages looking forward to the nurse checking me over and answering questions i have. I get a phone call tonight to say they need to reschedual for next week!! I feel so disapointed and let down as i cant get there next week i have work and two young children to look after and my partner is away at work! I am really upset as i dont see why they are cancelling my appointment at this short notice when its been booked for so long. I cant get there after tomorrow for the next 2 weeks so i will be 8 weeks when i have my checkup? I dont feel comfortable with that as i want my mind put at ease knowing everything is healing as it should be. Really feeling upset woth mya right now xx

Oh no ;(
I’m really upset with them too , I was suppose to have my op so done yesterday I was at the hospital with my gown on and waitied 5 hours to tell me I can’t have it done cause the anethetist wouldn’t touch me I was so so upset , furious and every emotion and I’ve still no answers yet I’m waiting for someone to tell me the next step. I hope you get sorted soon! Xx

Omg I know how you feel. I have a partner that works shifts I live 3 hours away and 2 children so to get a day planned and it not go ahead causes a lot more stress and fuss than they realise! Some people are able to just swap days and its fine but I understand your situation and how hard it can be! Can you not see a different nurse for the time being?xx

@laurastock they just said unforseen circumstances, i said i was available anytime tomorrow but i was told there was no available time tomorrow. I expressed my disapointment woth the nurse who said she could get manager to ring me which i agreed to. When she rang i again expressed how disapointed i felt ect. She then said she would get back to me. Rang back soon later to say they could see me 12.30 tomorrow!! (My original apt was 11) i am more than happy with this and so happy i will still be having my apt tomorrow. Just goes to show girls its worth pushing, we are paying alot of money and i strongly believe i am entitled to my checkup when we originally decided xx

Because in my notes I’ve had a history of fainting even though I have a letter from my GP to say there’s nothing serious I’m fit for surgery ! I’m so angry , I just want to know what’s happening and no ones telling me xx

I would continue to ring and ring until I got an answer. Have you spoken to your doctors and told them About what they done? See if they could fax anything further over?xx

@ellie2015 exactly im not being unreasonable i would rearrange if possible. Luckily they are going to see me 12.30 instead of 11 now that i have pushed and spoke to manager so i am happy with that. Xxx
