    Hey girls,

Had my 6 week check up last week with Mr Adamo and I am soooooooo pleased! I can now wear underwired bras, go back to the gym and do whatever I want! Woohoo!

I’ve noticed lots of posts on here from people recently post op, worrying about numbness and feeling extra sensitive to the point where it is painful. I’d just like to try and reassure you all that it’s totally normal. I lost the feeling in my nipples and the lower part of my boobs after the surgery and it still hasn’t returned, Mr Adamo said it could take up to a year and that its nothing to worry about.

For the first 5 weeks or so I felt so sensitive that it was painful, I could feel my clothes rubbing and the bras were irritating me. I understand its frustrating as you just want to get back to normal but you feel worried that you’ll hurt yourself. Listen to your body, you’ll know your limits. I certainly knew mine.

I’m nearly 7 weeks post op now and feel great. I can now push them together for cleavage :-) and they wiggle and everything! Haha. My other half is always grabbing them (bless, he’s so fickle!) and it doesn’t hurt at all. The hyper sensitivity does go away, mine lasted for weeks and it is annoying, but just remember you have great new boobs! And it does go away eventually.

It feels like the pain has gone away over night, one minute I was getting annoyed because I couldn’t do much then I was suddenly better!

Hope everyone that is post op is doing well and good luck to all you pre op girls, it is sooooo worth it! xx

Pam/April – Um, I wouldn’t say they look bigger but they look lovely and natural. When I first had them done I really swelled up like a couple of footballs, but now they have dropped and all the sweeling is gone. I had myself measured at 1 week post op, came out a 32e and had myself measured last week and now a 32e/f.
It sounds really massive but they’re really not that big, I look very much in proportion now.
I’m only 5’1″ and 8 stone 8 lbs. I had 410 overs and started off a small 32a/b so I am very happy now!
Mr Adamo was my surgeon and he really is fantastic.

Sky, you really don’t have anything to worry about, the pain is minimal, its mpre discomfort than anything. The only time I felt sick was when the anaestethic wore off. Good luck with your op, it’ll be fine :-)

Ahhhh Sara and Bex, how you both doing? Bet you can’t wait for the next few weeks to pass, trust me they will fly by! Hope you’re both recovering well and resting! I’m off to the gym for the first time in ages today, woohoo! ****EXCITED****.
