6DPO, 350cc HP partials – Mr Mahdi

Hi girls 🙂

I know how much it can help reading people’s journeys so I thought I would add mine! I was a small 32B before surgery and was recommended 300-350cc HP partials from Mr Mahdi. He was an absolute delight all the way through the process and I’m so happy post op!

My admission time was 9am at the Pall Mall, Mr Mahdi and the Anethasist came to see me around 11:30 and I got took to my op at 12:30! The nurses was lovely, I had my hair down and some concealer on my spots which she was okay with! I came around at 1:45 and was I n the recovery room with an amazing nurse, I kept shouting ‘AWR I HAVE BOOBS’ ‘AH I LOVE THEM’ (how embarrassing). I got wheeled back to my room at around 2:30 and was eventually given some food and water (which I absolutely demolished). It was my first time under anesthetic and I had no side effects other than feeling cold and tired. I wasn’t sick, just very weak. I had to then go to the toilet for a wee (to prove everything was working) before being discharged at 4:30!

The drive home was horrendous, every bump felt awful haha. I had originally been wearing the asda front fastening post op bra for the first two days, I hated the bra and didn’t feel like they gave me enough support! Third day I swapped to a m&s high impact bra in a 34D (slightly tight) and it instantly improved my mood! I was fully mobile from the first day although I couldn’t use my left arm as it hurt soooo bad. My right arm was fine.

By day three I had stopped taking co-codamol every four hours and started taking one ibuprofen in the morning and one co-codamol before bed. Now 6DPO I’m not taking no tablets as I feel fine! I didn’t use ice packs either, I literally just had my V pillows and tablets for the first couple of days, I think my recovery has been so fast because I’ve had partials, I can imagine unders to be so much worse as the muscles on those first two days was hell!!

I’ve gone back to my asda bra’s as the m&s one started to rub on my incisions but the asda’s are super soft and comfy 🙂 I had a lot of bleeding over the first couple of days so I rang the nurse and she told me to leave them alone, as the blood isn’t fresh no more she wouldn’t risk redressing me so early and letting infection in!

At the minute my boobs are ugly but I already love the size! I think I’ll settle to a 32DD which is exactly what I wanted! I can’t wait to see my incisions now 🙂

@stephanienx thank you so much for this!! I have mahdi at pall mall on the 15th December for either 300 or 325cc partials so this is really helpful! I posted another thread weeks ago about being able to wear concealer as well so it’s so reassuring that they won’t mind! I’m a similar before size to you as well (I wear a 34A bra but Mahdi measured me to be a 33A if it existed haha!) hope your recovery goes well! Xxx

@ljx6 Ah how exciting! The staff are lovely and so relaxed! You could blatantly tell that I had concealer on too as I put clear powder over the top and my face was mega smooth so I don’t think you have anything to worry about 🙂 Be prepared for the oily skin afterwards though, it’s terrible haha… I managed to have a shallow bath everyday from 2DPO so it’s not too bad. I hope everything goes fab for you! Mr Mahdi is amazing & It’s the best feeling in the world! xxx

@stephanienx ah fab! Yeah I’m so excited! I’m getting more nervous the closer it gets though! When did you get your admission time? My op is on a Friday just want a rough idea lol! That makes me feel so much better, I’ll be nervous enough on the day without worrying about how awful I look beforehand haha! Oh god I’ve heard about that, I’ll keep on top of my skincare after! That’s good, I’m going to miss having a shower so much, how have you got on with sleeping sat up? Thank you! I really like him so far and my nurse said he’s her favourite surgeon so I feel in good hands! Xxx

@ljx6 I didn’t get my admission time from MYA until the Thursday afternoon! I’m mega impatient though so I rang the Pall Mall on Wednesday morning and they gave it me then 🙂 Sleeping has probably been the worst part, I’m only managing to get five hours through the night so I end up napping throughout the day, I guess it’s just because we’re not used to it. Let me know how everything goes lovely!xxx

@stephanienx oh god! I’m the same I’m so impatient I’d have the time now if it was up to me haha! Ah okay it’s a bugger isn’t it! Not looking forward to the sleeping part at all, at least it’s only for a week! That’s what my nurse said anyway 🙂 thank you I will do! It’s flying by! I’ll probably post a panicking thread the day before or something hahaha! No hopefully I’ll be fine, just want it over and done with so I can stop worrying! Xxx

@ljx6 I just thought I’d add a quick photo of my incisions so you can see how neat Mr Mahdi is! Excuse the fact I’m super bruised still! I’ve got dissolvable stiches but he leaves some hanging out so they have room to stretch with the skin. Dressings on for another week then they’re coming off, he’s literally a seamstress though! xxx

@stephanienx thank you! They look fab! I remember the nurse saying his incisions are really neat as well! I can’t wait now, I’m just gonna ask him on the day which size he thinks would be best for me and see what i have when I wake up haha! He’s the expert xxx

I thought I would add a quick update whilst I’m now 2 weeks post op 🙂 I got my dressings off yesterday too and I love how neat my incisions are. Just waiting for them to drop and fluff now!! xxx

They look fab.. I had partials and im nearly a year now.. the difference in 6 months is amazing and now they are different still from 6 months the drop and fluff takes ages but is worth it x

I had mr Mahdi on Friday last week and I’m so impressed. I love seeing these journeys too. Your boobs look amazing ♥️ And I feel mine look very similar (including the bruising in the cleavage area) so if at 8 weeks they look like that I’ll be so happy. I’ve had no pain at all! It’s mad. I love it x
