So I’m a week post opp tomorrow and going to see the nurse to get the plasters removed and fingers crossed will be able to have a shower 🙂 so I needed a second opp because my implants had dropped to much I always thought I was looking after my boobs I always wore my sports bra for the 6weeks.

This is just my opinion and how I got on with them. first the Macom bra they feel asif you are supported feel very snug tight but I don’t think the support underneath the boob properly as thief is no band at the bottom if that makes sense.
Then I wore an m&s high impact zip front bra in a 32DD I loved it as their was a nice thick band at the bottom which really helped hold my boobs up but looking back I wish I would have got a 32d or even 32c as the straps were not very tight and when I lay at an angle in bed as you have to only he band would feel tight not the straps. This time round I have two asda zip front bras in a 32D they are very tight but I really don’t want to risk them dropping again. I went 50cc bigger his time and went down a sports bra size I know that seems weird but I can feel the difference in support.

Sorry for the long essay but seen so many post about sports bras for after the opp I just thought I’d give my oppion as it has changed so much from the first time. I don’t think macom bras are worth it for the price I payed £3 for my asda bra in the sale 🙂 and absolutely love it so much more support.

Do you have the link for the zip front asda one? I can only find the one that fastens at the front with like bra clips xx

@Clairelh thank you for this post a very interest read! I’m 18 days post op and I was borderline uplift before. I’m sure it’s just my boobs settling into place but I feel like they are really really dropping now. I’ve absolutely sworn by my Macom bras and have 3 so pricey! But I found them more comfortable than the Asda sports bras. I am now finding that they are rubbing on my incisions as the band isn’t longline so therefore I’m having to wear dressings and change them everyday which is a pain and I’m covered in sticky plaster crap! I’m wondering wether I should try a Asda bra now! Do they have a soft band near where the incisions are? How long ago was your first op and when did you realise they had dropped too much? Sorry for all of the questions xx

@apparen hi Amy 🙂 I know what you mean about you feel like the band is rubbing the incision i always worried about this and would pull the bottom of my bra down away from my incisions but now I know they need to be supported more I wear the band right underneath and as u say just put a slightly padded cover over so it’s not rubbing as much if that makes sense. I noticed them dropping to much after about 8weeks I was loosing all the volume from above my nipple in the end they only looked good held up in a bra I had my first opp exactly a year ago last week xx

And I don’t love the m&s bras as much as the asda ones I only really wear it when my asda ones are in the wash x
