Hi girls! I used this forum soo much before my op so I wanted to do a little review on the whole experience so far. 🙂
I’ve seen a fair bit of negativity on here about MYA, but personally I’ve had an amazing experience from start to finish. I had 325cc HP round partials with Dr Mounir on the 22/01/2018. I had such an easy recovery, I wasn’t in much pain at all, my worst day was probably POD2 and even then I wouldn’t have said it was ‘painful’. Honestly before my op I was terrified of the pain as I’d never had surgery before, but don’t worry because even if you do get a little bit more pain, it is so worth it, and I’d do it all over again in a heartbeat!
On the actual day of the op (First Trust, Preston), the nurses were really attentive. I was petrified of the anaesthetic. I even thought about getting up from the little table in the anaesthetists room and walking out then and there, but I am so glad I didn’t because it was nothing to be scared of at all. I was sick from the anaesthetic, and I know so many people get worried about that, but you are so dosed up on all sorts of pain meds that it didn’t hurt at all! The nurses checked on me every 30 mins and I was given plenty of anti-sickness. Dr Mounir put me at ease before my op and checked on me after. If any of you girls have any questions about Mounir please feel free to message me because I know there’s not loads about him here on the forum. I’ve seen a few posts about him preferring a bigger look which I think may be true, but I stressed how much I wanted a natural look and that’s exactly what I have so I’m so happy I went with him! No regrets at all — apart from wishing I went a teeny bit bigger but boob greed gets us all! I’m currently fitting into a 32c/d cup from a veryyy flat 32a, which is exactly what I asked for so I’m over the moon!
MYA have just been great overall, my post op checks have been informative and reassuring. I was at the Leeds clinic and my PC was Katy and she was lovely as well, I came in to try the sizers on so many times before my op which really helped! Fingers crossed I’ve had no complications so far and I would definitely recommend MYA. I would like to share before and after pics on here, but I’m not going to publicly on the forum for privacy reasons.
