Hey Ladies,
So back on 7th November I had 325cc (l) & 350cc (r), HP, round, submuscular with Dr. Linda Fiumara at Fitzroy. I had two different size implants due to ‘sever’ chest wall asymmetry.
I’m 6 weeks 1 day post op today and I had my check-up. All is looking and healing well and apparently they’ve softened really nicely which surprised me as they still feel so firm! I’ve been given the all clear to wear wired bras, go braless, swim, bath etc. and although the nurse said I could sleep on my side, I’m still technically not allowed due to my surgeons preference, so another 2 weeks on my back it is for me.
Another thing I’m not allowed to do yet is train my upper body or run as I had unders. I have to wait until I’m 3 months PO.
I went to Boux Avenue and Victoria Secret to be measured and I’m now – wait for it – a 30F/32E!! :O :O I was never measured pre op but my guestimation was around an empty 32B.
Here are some pictures of my pre and post op boobs and a couple of shots in some bras I tried on at my fittings – nothing too fancy.
More pictures are on my profile and my Instagram page so feel free to add / take a look. My Instagram is private so please message me and I’ll accept 🙂 Thanks. http://www.instagram.com/mya.ba.2016
If you’ve got any questions just ask 🙂
You must be over the moon. They look very natural
Happy 6 weeks!
They look really natural and suit you so much i agree. Cant believe the size you’ve been measured go you!!! Xxx
Imogen you look fab! I would be so so pleased with those results!! I’m also loving the Primark crop top. How long after surgery did you wear these. I’m a week PO today and so tired of this Macom already. I appreciate I still need to wear it for longer but would be interested to know when you switched to this type of thing xx
Congratulatilns Imogen they look amazing!! You must be so chuffed with your results, they look so natural and really suit your frame!
– When were you told to stop sleeping upright and could lay on your back?
– are you allowed to do lower body excercise after 6 weeks as in ab crunches etc..
Xxx
Thanks ladies!
@emma2410 Thank you. My surgeon prefers the light support bras like Calvin Klein crop tops so I’ve been wearing things like this since 1WPO.
@sgirl Thanks 😀 MYA say to try and sleep upright for 2 weeks and then flat on your back until 6WPO.
I’m pretty sure I just have to avoid arms, shoulders and chest. I’m going to train my abs but I’ll take it easy as my surgeon says no running because you can contract your chest muscles without realising and guess that this could apply to some ab exercises.
Xx
Thanks Imogen!! Xxx
You look amazing. Would you mind of I added you on Instagram? I am hoping to have either 300cc or 325 cc. Are you in much
Discomfort? I am worried about that pain x
Hey @lauraloumt
I still have discomfort in my left breast around the edge of the implant nearest my armpit and also a tiny bit underneath. I haven’t heard of many people still getting discomfort at this stage (now 7W 3DPO) but my nurse said it’s nothing to worry about.
It really wasn’t as bad as I was expecting. I was preparing myself for the worst after reading loads of people saying it was like being run over etc. but it was far from it. I thought maybe I was lucky but after talking to other girls who had their op around the same time, I think I had a fairly standard recovery. By post op day 4 I’d halved my meds and was out and about and I was completely off meds by day 6. Day 1 was the best, day 2 was by far the worst but the following days it got easier and easier.
I’d say you experience more discomfort than pain, except for when getting out of bed, pulling trousers up or down etc.
Xx
Thank you Hun. I’ve only just logged back into this (lost my password) so sorry for the late reply. My operation is all booked. I can’t wait.
@lauraloumt That’s okay. How exciting, when is it booked for? X
