7&half PO

Right, long over due update haven’t done one since 4daysPO.
On the 18th Aug I had 325cc unders, pod+ with Dr Fiumara.

I think I had the easiest recovery process I possibly could have an I am so thankful. Straight after my op I was VERY sore and uncomfortable, not to mention swollen. It seemed worse as the girl next to me had overs and seemed to be in no discomfort at all! Advice, don’t eat loads after the op no matter how fine you feel – could not stop being sick every time I stood up. The worst of it was the night after the op and didn’t help that I had to get to the hotel and could barely move for myself (make sure someone goes with you that won’t mind waiting on you hand foot and finger). PO day 1 was the worst of it, woke up feeling like I’d been run over with no strength in my upper body! Thankfully that was the worst of it and from post op day 2 I was feeling absolutely fine !

Personally I was a little disappointed with the treatment in the hospital, at times it felt as though I was putting them out – something you don’t expect considering the 5k price???? however dr fiumara and the theatre staff were so kind and careing, one lady from theatre even came to see me at around 10pm as she heard I’d been sick! Dr Fiumara is an absolute pro and made me feel SO secure, recommend her to everyone if you’re looking for a surgeon who you can trust will get every detail right.

As soon as I’d had them done I panicked and I thought what have I done ?! They looked soooo small and did do for the first week or so. You’ll be able to see from my pics that they get bigger. At nearly 8 weeks PO I am much happier they look so natural no body can tell they are fake – I’m not sure if I like this or not. If I could go back I would have pushed for 350cc however Dr Fiumara did say that 325 was a struggle so maybe even consider getting HP just to give you that bit more cleavage which I kind of wish I had! However if you want them to look super natural and ‘real’ I recommend mod+ 100%.

Long winded post but my overall advice is – DO it! You won’t regret it at all, once they settle they look fab and they DO get bigger some how. Don’t eat straight after the op and BE PATIENT.

Thanks for sharing this Katie – glad your recovering well! I’ve added you as a friend, getting my op in November. What would you advise to take with you to the hospital and the hotel? I’m having to stay over at a hotel the night of the op too xxx

Hi Calan, that’s great good luck!! Pyjamas that button up at the front for sure! Things to keep you entertained while you wait to be discharged, some dry food I took rich tea biscuits helped with the sickness and when I was hungry but too sick for real food. V shaped pillow I wish I had ! And that’s it really, I took too much !

Thank u for sharing! I’ve got Dr Fiumara too and she isn’t mentioned much on here so really refreshing. So glad ur happy with ur results I guess the general consensus is be patient for results! They look really natural!

I’ve got Dr Fiumara and am having the same size implants as you but she’s undecided between mod plus and HP. I have been thinking that I might prefer 350cc which I hope Dr. Fiumara will let me have. What size do you measure now, if you don’t mind me asking? Xx

Imogen, hiya good luck she is an absolute pro she’ll only do what’s best for you. Haven’t been measured yet but 32D doesn’t fit me 34D does so I’m guessing I’m around 32DD

I’m sure I’ll be haply even with 325cc as there really isn’t much difference between the two sizes. I think it’s more for peice of mind as if I felt they were too small I would know I did everything I could have without jeopardising the result.
Can’t wait for my op now although I feel like these final four weeks are going to drag 🙁 Xx

Katie your boobs look lovely they are both identical and look so natural. They really suit your frame. It’s really odd that they get bigger over time. I’ve noticed on pictures girls look a lot bigger at 6-12 weeks than initially. I guess it’s because the muscle is pushing back on the implant at first maybe?
I am booked in with dr fiumara on the 24th and after seeing your pics I feel reassured 🙂
I do agree with you about feeling rushed though, the nurse whizzed through my pre op….. I didn’t find it very good because I too am a nurse and because of the price tag. I am just hoping that the surgery day is better and they are more attentive.
