9 days post op check – a bit worried Started by: Cliona

Hi ladies,

Just had my one week check at 9dpo, my left looks amazing, perfectly healed and super neat, my right looks battered and bruised and a bit angry and was oozing a bit.

The nurse said it’s not infected so I don’t need antibiotics but to keep an eye out for bleeding or excessive oozing.

I haven’t been signed off to drive or to shower yet. I have to go back on the 26th for a further check.

I’ve got to admit I’m a bit worried, I am an anxiety head anyway but I’m panicked it’s getting infected. It doesn’t help that I didn’t have support from 3 dpo and have had to look after the house and the three kids on my tod as my husband has been away since Monday.

Has anyone else had similar? All of see on here are posts about girls getting signed off to shower at 7 days post op. Two more weeks is a long time to wait
