A drink before op

Hi girls. Did anyone have a few glasses of wine 2 days before BA op? Im at a wedding on saturday amd op tues 🙁 xx

I got told no drinking 2 weeks before by the nurse at my pre op appointment! I also have a leaflet from her stating that but everyone’s different. I drunk a week before but only alcopops nothing too strong! Xx

I had a bottle of bulmers berry cider 2 night b4 x

My nurse crossed out 48 hours on my paperwork and made it clear not to drink 2 weeks before Hun,some people do drink but I didn’t want to risk it as it thins ur blood,u might be ok to have one but wouldn’t have any more then that xxx

Yeh I got told the same, no alcohol 2 weeks before and after xxx
