I finally have my app with surgeon next week after almost 3 mth waiting to see him!
Been looking into this for 10 plus years and reading this forum for 2.5 years.
As im lucky to even fill a 34aa is it too much to want a full C cup?
Also for any older ladies, is teardrop better option as lets face it by 40 our boobs don’t sit where they did at 20???
So nervous to even go to this app never mind the surgery

    Hey there.
I’m an AA cup (surgery booked) and I asked for teardrop implant and I was told that round implant gives you more up top than the teardrop, sounds like round gives a more youthful look as it puts more volume on top (something older breasts are lacking in – a guess!) . As you mentioned about age, my boobs are saggy from breastfeeding, and I have nothing on top so my boobs look older than they should at 27 years old.

What I’m basically saying is at my consultation, I was told that teardrops are not very good implant and costs much more than round – we all have different opinions, of course!

Your surgeon would recommend what he/she believes what is best for you, and I THINK most surgeons prefer to use round.

Good luck with your appointment, don’t be nervous; I loved mine as it was so exciting trying on the sizes and seeing what I could look like in the future. Also being a step closer to my surgery 😀 xx

I’m an a cup and I was just honest and said I want to be a double d. If you don’t ask you don’t get! I think you should just be fully honest about what you would like your boobs to look like and then your surgeon will advise what is realistic and achievable for you!

I would go with what your surgeon recommends implant wise. My cousin is now 41 and she had her boobs done 6 years ago with round implants and they look lovely. But obviously you have a say in what you want if tear drop is what you prefer!

That’s supposed to say my surgeon just told me I would have round implants he didn’t give me a choice lol.

I’ve had round and now teardrop. I have a tall chest apparently so although I wanted volume at the top, a round just didn’t do this for me. I had volume up to point of the top of the implant but then it fell away to nothing. Just a bony chest. The teardrops I have now, have given me more volume than I thought possibly and it has filled my chest out in the length so I no longer look like VB in her stuck on melon days. Everyone is different. I know that teardrop is more technically challenging due to the pocket shape required so without being a doctor myself, I can only assume that round are easier to place but still have good results so I think this goes towards the popularity of them
