A-symmetrical chest wall – advice needed

Hi girls,

So I’ve seen a few of you comment on different topics about having a-symmetrical chest walls but I’m working myself up in to a stress and need some more in depth advice! So I have my surgery booked for 16th January with Linda Fuimara and I’m having 275cc and 250cc submusuclar mod plus implants. My chest wall is severely a-symmetrical, in fact one side of my rib cage sticks out way in front of the other! Not only that but my chest wall is a convex shape meaning that if I had any bigger implants my boobs would slide under my armpits???? I’m wondering whether anyone out there has had experience with this and has any pictures they can show me?

I’m mainly worried that my boobs will be super far apart and a strange shape. I also originally wanted larger implants so I’ve been having a few pre op nightmares where I come out of surgery and they are so small I can’t tell a difference!!!

Any advice would be great as I’m approaching two weeks till surgery date and I’m already a nervous wreck!

I had my op with Linda on 7th November with 325 &350cc high profile round implants and I have ‘sever’ chest wall asymmetry.
My left chest wall projects further than my right and it is most sever near my sternum.
Linda wanted to use mod plus implants as that’s her preference with thinner patients but because my asymmetry was with projection she used high profile to achieve the best result.
I was originally offered 300 & 325cc implants but after speaking with Linda she agreed to my request of 325 & 350cc. If you’re worried about size the speak to her about going bigger, it may not be possible but if your honest with her and there was nothing she could do, at least you know you tried.
When you wake up post op you probably will think your boobs are small but this will change to stay open minded.
I’ll attach a couple of pictures for you of my asymmetry, although it’s not that obvious in pictures. One picture is pre op looking up from beneath (the easiest way to see the severity of my asymmetry), another picture is from the same angle today (7W 3DPO) and final one is a side view at 13DPO. It basically just looks like I have a seriously boney chest.

Your boobs look great!!! I will be so happy if I wake up looking like you!

I think I’m probably worrying over nothing, my biggest fear is that I’ll wake up and think oh gosh I’ve wasted so much money. It’s also quite disheartening to hear that they may not come out looking that great because of your natural asymmetry, but you’ve put my mind at ease.

One last question, do your new boobs hurt your back? I’m worried because of my dodgy chest wall I’ll have more back pain than most girls.

I started to really worry about how they would look (especially after taking the photo from beneath) as I couldn’t find anyone pre op who had asymmetry.
I’ve never had issues with back pain and haven’t started to get any post op.
