AARRGGGHHH TODAY'S THE DAY EEEKKKK!!

Well never thought I’d be saying this but today is the day!! Feeling nervous/excited/like I want to cry haha admission time is 11am…. can’t wait to be home with my new additions ??

Today’s the day for me too! I left my house at 5am and on the train into Kings Cross! Typical train was delayed though so I’ll be slightly late for my 7.30 arrival time! Where are you having yours done? Good luck!! X

How are you all getting on? I was out by 10.30 as was first on the list. I’ve eaten, drank, peed etc been up and about and got my own pants on lol. Couldn’t wait to get those paper ones off! I’m feeling great! No pain at all since. Still have drains in but other than that all good. Just reading some magazines and watching Step-up! I feel like I’m in a hotel and enjoying the peace ? Every bodies been so lovely and kind. So happy I’ve not felt sick or everything!! I had 425 left, 450 right HP overs. What are you all having/have? X

Hi Amy I’m out too got home about 330, everyone was lovely where I was I just wanted to get home though and on the sofa ha, I’m in a bit of pain but mostly uncomfortable! Hoping it doesn’t go on for too long ! Did you have overs or unders? Xx

How is everybody today?? I had overs Lucy 🙂 you where home way before me. I got in at about 8.30 but I had a while to travel and wasn’t in any kind of rush. It all feels a bit surreal tbh. I’m managing well though I think. Only slight pain in my stitches and where my drains where removed mainly! X

Hiii I’m ok keeping topped up on meds at the minute, I had unders so my muscle movement seems to be limited on my left hand side and my right boob keeps trumping ? how did you find sleeping? I wasn’t as bad as I thought, i managed to get comfy and about 4 n half hours sleep but think that’s because I snoozed alot in the afternoon. I’m a bit worried I didn’t go big enough though atm I have 350’s as it was max Dr K would give me but I expected them to be bigger some how! Xxx

I had 325cc(left) and 350cc(right) and i felt fine yesterday and i feel fine today 🙂 i stayed over night & had my drains out this morning, was the most painful part of the op! Hows everyone else with their pain? X

Ahh I’m glad your both not feeling too bad. I’m not bad at all actually I can’t believe how good I feel. I’ve just had a couple of hours nap whilst my little boy slept. I have pain where my drains where removed and on my stitches and I’m taking my medication every 6 hours for that and can tell when it’s due. I agree the drains being removed wasn’t pleasant but over very quickly! My mum filmed them being removed and my friends are all cringing when I show them ?? I slept with my V pillow at a 45 degree angle and found it comfy, just waking at 3.30 then again at 6 with Phoenix then dosed again until 10ish. I’m just so worried that I shouldn’t of had my strapping removed! Xx

Also I am sure that overs are way easier and more comfortable than overs as really it’s minor surgery involved in overs (which I’m pleased about) x

Ohhhh I didn’t have drains in really glad I did I’d have probably passed out haha, I’m taking drugs every 4 hours and know about it when it’s coming round to its time for taking them! Wish I could have had overs! My nurse worried me a little bit, she said I only have one disolvble stich and the rest are steri strips…. bloody paranoid they are gonna fall out haha ??? what stitches have you guys had? Xx

I’ve had the dissolvable stitches 🙂 .. you’re lucky you didn’t have drains, was the most painful part of all the op! Xx

That is lucky that you didn’t have drains as they where uncomfortable and had to be in for 4 hours minimum. I have non disolvable stitches and have to have them removed in two weeks! I wish i had disolvable. Which surgeons did you both have? How are you today? I’m not feeling the best. Really tired, reflux acid in my throat and have a very noisy tummy! I think maybe it’s time to just go onto paracetamol as maybe it’s the co-dydramol (as has coedine in). What tablets where you discharged with? Have you bathed yet? X

Hi Amy! I had Dr kazzazi at doncaster, he was lovely, who did you have? I’m exactly the same as you today! I ache less but have slept for 3 hours today! Feel so sleepy,I can’t decide whether it’s my stomach or boobs that are making noises! I got discharged with a little bit of codine but got some cocodamol off ny mum because I couldn’t cope with just paracetamol and ibuprofen, hoping to try not take as much tomorrow, I haven’t bathed yet as I have to wear them lovely op socks! They can come off tomorrow though and am going to try a shallow bath my mums coming to help me haha, my bf gave me a bit of a wipe down with baby wipes today…. I have no pride left whatsoever ha, how about you? Have you managed a bath yet? Xxx
