Any girls here have ADHD? Or take meds for it?

I have ADHD but not on meds xxx

Ahh okay Laura, did they look into your ADHD as if it was a mental illness or not?? I’m worried they’ll find a reason to cancel my op! I take Ritalin for my uni exams and coursework, but only every couple of months or so, and I haven’t taken it since January. Xx

Unfortunately I think mya will do what they did with me and not operate until been off meds for 6 months but mind were antidepressants but I came off them in Janurary and in match they still wouldn’t operate till 6 months, there’s other places to try if they see it as the same as antidepressants as I’ve found somewere else , good luck ?have u had consultation yet as they should of sed then? Xx

Hi Kel, it’s okay – I had my pre op today and they said it was absolutely fine (plus a really nice nurse called me to reassure me too) because ADHD isn’t like depression, its just for studying and concentration so they aren’t worried about it xx
