Just wondering what time everyone has gone down for their op after there admission time?
Mines at 9.30am and been told not to eat 6hours before, if it’s a lot longer after 9.30am that they take me down, I’m going to feel faint and sick from having an empty stomach….
Anyone else? Xx
Hey! I asked a similar question a few days ago, and most people seem to range. From going down 2hrs after admission to 6hrs! I think it just depends if they get delayed on the surgeries before you.
Mine is at 9am and I’m the same as you, il be feeling faint by 3pm if I haven’t eaten! But I’m hoping il be like 2nd on the list so shouldn’t have to wait to long xx
Gosh sod waiting that long lol some people iv seen on here was given there op time…I haven’t yes defo you will lol and no cup of tea before either…am going to diiiiie
Haha trying to contact the nurse to see if she had any idea of the actual op time….though doubt will get any answer xx
Hi ladies. I’m 5 dpo.
Mine was 11 and as soon as I got to the clinic they did advise me that there were a emergency that had come up so will be seen after then. I went for the op at 2.30 and back at 3.30 . With water, cup of tea , 3 biscuits and the food I ordered earlier in the day. (Toastie, sandwich or toast)
I was then monitored for 3 hours and got discharged at 6.45 and home for 7.30 ready for my tea and bed. X good luck x
I haven’t had an op time, but they might be able to tell you where you are on the list, then you’ll get an idea. lol I’m the same, I need my cuppa in the morning aha, I’m going to be so moody!! When’s your op? Xx
Oh not too bad then but did it drag just sitting around?
I’m in over night for some reason so no going home till next morning all you want is your own bed xx
Think I’ll just ask when I get there…. lol yesss know how you feel lol
