Lady on phone said should have it done within 3 hours after being admitted,
Do any of you no how long after you wake up you can be discharged? Xx
Hi Aimee, from what I’ve heard its usually about 5-6 hours after admission, can obviously vary slightly though. I’m Friday too, where are you having yours? Good luck xxx
Thanks Hun I’m at Highgate you? What size are you going to and from? X
I’m at Droitwich, currently a 32A but still can’t decide what size to have so will decide on the day! They’ve ordered 295-365cc’s so I’ll probably go somewhere in the middle (unless boobie greed gets me!) I’m having unders. xxx
Hi aimee the staff are really good, they give you something to eat after and don’t give you any pressure into going, just whenever you feel up to it:) i decided to stay over night as I kept being sick and didn’t feel too good which I feel was safer:) hope this helps!xx
That’s good to hear Sophie did you have to pay to stay? Sorry I’m nosy lol x
Haha it’s fine, I was the same! No I didn’t the nurse just left it up to me:) I’m abit of a worrier so i felt safer staying in!xx
My admission time was 10am i was in theatre for bang on 12 x
Hey! Ah exciting stuff! Bet you can’t wait!! My admission was 10, was in theatre about half 12 then was no rush to get me out so had some food, then a little nap and then some more food and left about 5! X
Can’t wait now nerves starting to kick in more worried about recovery x
Hi aimee…how exciting for u. I am having my op at the Highgate on the 19th June. Really excited at mo, but I know with just days to go (like u), my nerves wd of really kicked in. Is it okay to add u please, so I can ask how u got on? X
I’m at Droitwich tomorrow – have to be there at 10am – having Dr Sciavone and have to say am absolutely petrified!
More so of the anaesthetic than anything else 🙁 x
I’m exactly the same Eva, excited for boobies but dreading the anaesthetic! I’m at Droitwich tomorrow with Dr Schiavone too, my admission is 7am so hopefully I’ll be finished as you’re arriving. Best of luck x
I was exactly the same on monday girls! I was crying my eyes before i went down! The nurses are lovely and really take your mind off it, you feel slight pins and needles in your face and youre muscles go funny and the next minute youre awake with boobs! Nothing to worry about at all:) good luck!xx
Hey Aimee Good luck for tomorrow babe, Bit of advice i sipped water before my op which admission time was 11am…..My op was then delayed till 3pm! Lol so DON’T drink anything cause they won’t take you down and if your not honest about it if you do, it could make you be sick after…… 🙂 xxx
I was admitted at 9 yesterday. my op at 3 and I was out of hospital for 9:30!
Ah good luck to you too, I know we will be fine it’s just scary but they know what they are doing!
I wish my time was earlier as I want less time to think about it eeak! Let me know how you get on xx
Hey hun my admission time for my lipo with THG
was 12 midday and I was scheduled for theatre between 3.30 and 4:30 but didnt go down
until 5 because the girl before me took a little longer to wake up from the anaestetic. So my advice would be
take lots of magazines and they do have tv’s in the rooms too so that was nice 🙂
@Eva62003 and Hx I was exactly the same as you girlies and on Saturday I just burst into tears whilst waiting to go down
for my op as I was literally petrified, althouh I was told it is extremely rare for anything to go wrong I was convinced that I would be the
one that would die! haha. But honestly once I got down to the theatre the anaesthetist was so nice and funny he put my mind at rest, I mentioned about worrying about dying and he said sorry but we dont deal with dead bodies! haha. Also had some magic cream on the back of my hand to numb it and I didnt even feel the
needle go in at all :). Then they put the mask over my face and told me to take deep breaths and i remember thinking why isnt this working> haha then I was obviously out!. You will be fine honestly 🙂
xxxxxx
