Admission time 8am on 21st when will my op be???

Just had call today to say I need to be at Doncaster Park Hill Hospital at 8am, does any body have an idea of when my operation will be, I’m wondering whether to eat when I get up incase my surgery isn’t till the afternoon or is it best to be on the safe side and not chance it???

My admission time was 7 am and I was on the table at 8:30 am, that was Highgate. I can’t imagine you’ll be hanging round too long and they say dont eat 6 hours before. you can drink water up to 2 hours before so defo don’t have breakfast, just a glass of water at around 6:30 am maybe to play it safe.

Hi my addmission time was 2pm today at parkhill i was walkin diwn to theatre at 3.30 dont chance eating as they will not do ur op untill the right amount of time as passedxx

Mine was 9am today and I went down at 11:30 ish x

Thanks girls that has put my mind at rest, I work in an nhs hospital and know what it’s like for waiting around, so thought I would be arriving at 8 and didn’t want to be sitting in my room starving till my op in the afternoon, but sounds like it should be in the morning so I will not even chance eating anything……getting nervous now!,

I was at admitted at 8 and den by anethetist at 1030 🙂 xx

Hiya, my admission was 1pm with transform and I went in at 3pm the time flew by though with nurse checks and seeing anaesthetist and p.s xxxx good luck dearie xx

Cool sounds like I won’t be waiting long the nerves are now turning to excitement wish it was happening tomorrow now, planning to travel down the night before as traveling from Newcastle so I can hopefully get a last night decent sleep without having to get up to early!!! X
