admission time and oh no!!!

Hello girls!!!! Omg im in on fri too!!!! I am now feeling very nervous!! My admission time is 9:30am – im an overnight stay in London so i may see you there Emma :crazy: I av been fine up until now but now it is sooooo close im shitting myself!! xx

hiya treacle, thanks for that, wow that must have been hard with not having any notice to stop! i took one vitamin c tablet yesterday and havent taken anymore. im gona stop 2moro as that will be 48 hours before my op! the more i think about stopping the more i want lol!! hope your feeling ok.xxx

I had a late space which meant I had to stop smoking on the day of my consultation, they tell you to stop but to me that means my immune system is low, I feel like crap so Im more prone to get colds etc. I know a lady who smoked all the way through, her consultant told her not to stop because of the stress and she came out fine and her boobs r great LOL.

I got the cough too because of not smoking, but its fine … I still proceeded with my BA. Ive been home a week tomorrow, Im smoking but still have the cough and Im finding it abit difficult with my new boobs LOL.

Have you checked about the vitamins your taking tho? I used to take multi-vitamins every day when I told the nurse this she told me to stop taking them before my BA. Just thought you should know… I think different consultants say different things because Ive heard a few different storys.

Virish is it possible for you to get home i know that feelin its not nice can anyone bring you a nicotine patch to help with the cravings .

hi helen, thanks im doing really well the doctor said i can leave tonight if i want,, im so bored sat here doing nothing! i haven’t had to have any painkillers yet which im surprised about, it’s just uncomfotable, i had 340cc put in and was a b/c cup before so am hoping to b a large d if not i will be back to do it again!!, im actually looking forward to the sleeping tablets tonight!, got to have something, not allowed to smoke here!!, hope all goes well for you xx

hi there i am sat in hospital, had my boobs done this morning, i was so nervous i cried my eyes out, but seriously i am in hardly any pain they are just a bit uncomfortable, i keep looking down at my chest and thinking oh my god!! i have tits.. i was a smoker too and i struggled to give up, but i was told as long as you give up 48 before it will be fine, and 48 hours after, the only thing i wanted this morning was a cigarette, i was told the reason your suppose to stop is because it just takes longer to heal, please don’t worry! xx

hi evryone, i finally got my admission time today for friday, not got to be there till 3! got home from work this evening and out of knowhere i let out this big chesty cough arrrggghh! my 2 boys have got a cough and i cant believe i might be getting it, i dashed out to morrisons and cleared there shelves of anything i could see that might help, cough medicine, vitamin c dissolvable tablets, lemsip, honey,loads of fruit and veg. ive waited for this for so long i would be gutted if i couldnt have it done, also im a smoker (terrible i know) only 3-4 a day and i was planning on giving up 2 weeks before but its like dieting, as soon as you think about cutting down you want evrything you cant have! ive found myself smoking more, also the stress has made me light up more. any advice greatly appreciated.xxx

Oh good, think the nurse was tryin to worry me!! At the end of the day im tryin my best an thats gonna have to do!!

I told my surgeon i was tryin to give up an he said you dont need to do it for this just cut down as best i could

Oh by the way ive heard that if the sergeon knows youve been smokin he will refuse the op! is this true??

Lol aw feel dead bad for ya cuttin down smokin causes a cough too an you could just be on edge waitin for something to spoil it for you .i know i am . Every cough sneeze i think im gettin ill im in on wednesday scary

Im in on friday too and strugglin with the smokin thing!! although have cut down a bit was ten a day now around 5!! i work with kids and they all have colds lol, which is typical!! ive been coughin a bit but think its the cuttin down. well im hopin it is!!
Where are you on friday, im in at 7.30 am!! its gonna kill me!

It could be the smokin thats causin the cough i smoke too try honey an lemon an im sure if you not got a temp they will do it still . Hope it all goes well x
