Admission time V surgery time

Hi everyone :). I just got my admission time for next Friday for 9am. The email says you can wait up to 6 hours before surgery, is this accurate? How long did you ladies wait from admission time before going down to surgery? Xx

Depends what number you are on the list .. my admission time was 7 so I was first of the day went down at 9 … xx

My admission time was 8 and I was second on the list so was supposed to down at 10 but he ended up running behind and I went down at 11ish x

My admission time was midday and I was second on the list and was down at 2.50pm x

@hannah how come you got your admussion time now when ur ops nextvweek thought they gave there times out late xx

@donnamarie I think it just depends honey, you can expect to get your admission time *up to* a day before, so I suppose if the surgeon is a sure of his/her schedule, you’ll get it earlier. Xxx

@donnamarie I know I was surprised! They emailed me yesterday but it went in my junk mail, luckily a girl on here who has the same day as me, said she had hers so I checked :). I reckon you might get yours soon as well x

I had my surgery yesterday, my admission time was 11am but didn’t end up having surgery until 5pm and then didn’t leave the hospital until around half 11/12 at night! I think he was rubbing over a little 🙂 it all just depends on what happens in the day xx

My admission time was 8am and I didn’t go down until half past 1. The wait was so so long haha xx
