Admission times!!

Does anyone know weather u are able to choose/negotiate with admission times? My op is in 2 wk and just dawned on me I would really struggle getting there mega early in the morn due to childcare! I wouldn’t mind a later time if pos….

I had same issue. I requested a late admission time. They giv me 11.30 which was perfect.

I was wondering the same thing as I’m booked for July. I was hoping I could request a later admission as I have 3 kids 2 of which is need to get to school.

Yer i told mya that i had to drop kids off at private nursery at 7 at earliest so earliest i cud get to preston was probs 10 so they requested late admission time and when I got the time of 11.30 that was fine with me.

Do you think it’s worth an email to my PC to inform her now it’s what I prefer? Hopefully I will have one of about 10/11am after school run else il be stuck xx

Yer let your pc known soon as poss.

yeah liaise with your PC and they are usually quite accommodating!

Mines not until July, when do you think I should mention it?

Thinking about it probably should have mentioned it at my pre op so I would suggest doing tht Stephanie which is usually 4wks roughly before your op I am Going to email my PC Tomo

My PC got bk to me and said unfortunately they don’t have anything to do with admission times as it’s all down to the hospital so I will just have to hope for the best xx
