Admission times + alone during..Preston

HiGirls,

sorry if something similar has been asked, but I’m jus wondering when abouts people get their admission times, I have a few people that can pick me up etc but i need to know my time to get it all properly arranged, also has anyone ever done the day alone bar being dropped off and picked up, no one is staying with me and Im a tad nervous now xxxx

Glad you posted this as I’m at Preston on the 9th and have been wondering when I will get my admission. Some girls seem to get them a week before and some only 24 hours before. Think I just can’t wait now! ? xxx

EEE, what surgeon are you having hun? I’m with Dr Traynor. I hope its as early as possible.. are you having someone with you all day, im just being dropped off and picked up xxxx

I’m with Traynor too! ? Glad it’s not just me who hasn’t had my time, I bet we’ll get them on the same day. My husband is staying but tbh I’ll be that stressed I’d probably rather be on my own! Haha. I’m sure you’ll be fine just being picked up as there are tv’s to watch and the time will probably fly. Can’t wait! Xxx

@Hannah I had my op at London Fitzroy, and I was alone all day until someone came to collect me, don’t worry the nurses, consultant will be in and out all day and all the staff were very helpful and friendly. you have nothing to be nervous about – good luck with your op xxx

@keeno1 thank you for the reassurance hun, i do better on my own not having to worry about anyone else and stuff! so hopefully all runs smoothly .. fingers crossed xxxx

My op was on a Wednesday and I got my admission time on the Saturday I think, mine was 11, I had my mum and then my gram with me to be honest I would have been as well on my own it was a long wait (5 hours) and I just felt sorry for them having to wait too x

I’m on the 9th too with Dr Traynor and dying to know my admission time just so I feel a little bit more organised! Got a 2.5 hour drive so hoping its not too early! Good luck girls might see you on Tuesday!! Eeeeeeek xx

@laura18100 theyve probably given you a later one because of your journey! Im only 20 mins/ half an hour away from the hospital! youl have to make sure you scoff your face at like 8oclock so your full up haha!! xxx

Mine is 3pm! I’m glad as have a long drive and can get to the hotel early and relax before hand. Saves my mam hanging around all day and night too. Sooooo excited!! Xx
