Admission times for Monday????

I’ve been calling mya for the past few days to try n find out what my admission time is which they still don’t have… Does anyone else have theirs yet? I live over two hours away n obvious I can’t drive so relying on someone else to take me? Need a rough idea of times…

If I get there early will I be aloud in the hospital to wait? I’ve booked hotel close by but cnt check in until later that day. I also have a baby whom I’ve sorted nursery runs for an he’ll be staying with my mum, his dads also got time off work to help out but I just feel so unprepared because I don’t have a clue? Anyone else had this. I’m organised n this is bothering me badly! Xx

I haven’t got mine yet and mine is Monday too!! The women at my clinic said she will have it by tomorrow and she will ring me, but I’m going to ring tomorrow first thing to make sure, it’s quite late notice tbh, just want to know what time so I have everything sorted! Xxx

Yeah I am, yeah same some people have had there admission time really early, like a week before so that’s why I rang yesterday, I like in newcastle so it’s 4 hours away!!! Where are u from? Xx

Nottingham! I haven’t booked a hotel for Sunday night just Monday, so either way I’ll be leaving here early! I booked n paid in jan fen time so hoping I’m not there all day…

I haven’t booked for the Sunday night either, just the Monday, same I’ll be leaving at 5ish, nightmare ahah! I booked mine in February too it’s took so long to come round!
I’m quite nervous, just scared about the pain cause I’ve never been through anything like this before so don’t know what to expect! Yeah same i hope I get an early admission so I’m not waiting all day in the hospital, that would make it worse! X

What if your admission times like 7.30? You’ll have to leave around 3 won’t ya? Think I’ll be leaving around 5ish anyway, gutted cnt eat or drink, I’ll be starved! Which hotel you booked? I’m in the ibis x

Yeah I know! Just want to know when it is so I can get stuff sorted and plan when to leave! Not like I’ll be able to sleep the night before too nervous! I know same ahahah! What’s the latest we can eat the night before??

It’s like you can’t eat the day but I’d just have teat at normal time then you can’t have anything else?? I think anyway cnt even have water :/ x

They normally give you admission time 2 days before. Doesn’t really givr much time to organise. You can eat 6 hours before and drink water 2 hours before. But your nurse will phone you the day before and go through it all xxx good luck xxx

Hey babes. I was exactly like u. Had to organise a lift & everything so was so impatient & kept ringing. I eventually got it 2 days before so you should have it by Saturday. I arrived about 10 minutes early & i was led straight to my room! Also Kate I’m from Newcastle & it doesn’t take 4 hours 2 get there. If u look at a route planner i think it says 2 hours 40 minutes. My admission time was 8am & left at 5am & was there half an hour early so my father in law took us to where out hotel was (the ibis) just to see how far away it was before hand then took me to the hospital. So don’t panic it wont take u that long!! Food u cant eat for 6 hours before hand. I cant remember about drinks however i was drinking my water when i walked in & got told off as they says i wasn’t supposed to drink anything including water & that mya should of told me this (they hadn’t) ask when u get ur admission time to be sure. Kate my nurse just phoned me an I expressed my concerns..
Within minutes she’s told me my admission times 10am 🙂 call them for yours x

Ah good!! At least ours is early so we’ll get it over with! Glad we’ve got it all sorted now 🙂 x
