19 days to go till boobie day for me 😀 any must haves, must do’s, don’ts etc for before and after my op? Thanks girls x
Firstly wow im soo jealous i bet you’re so excited!
I purchased a V pillow Friday as I’m buying stuff slowly over the next few months for my op on 23rd August and initially I thought no point but coming from a person that doesn’t sleep with any pillows normally the comfort and support is amazing! I would 1000% say get one if you haven’t already!! Xx
Wow you have to wait all the way til August? I’d be so impatient if I was you I only booked this week. I’m the same I have 1 thin pillow normally but I shall get myself a v pillow where’s best to buy them?
I needed it to ft round work and college as I’m a student and felt it needed to take a back seat to my education and job so I’m still pleased its booked!:D but yes I’m on the count down big time! It’s at Argos for £10! I might even go back and buy another in the next few weeks for the boosted sleep position because the position it holds and supports you in is just so comfy!
I honestly can’t say how amazing they are, I will undoubtably be keeping it for after my op! I’ve got my auntie hooked too she brought one today as she’s 4 months pregnant and developed a bump and said it hasn’t left her side all day!
That’s the link Hun xx

Not a problem! Best buy ever! £9.99 well spent in my opinion! Xx
Well 2 weeks b4 my op i started using bio oil on my boobs to prevent strech marks, im only 3 weeks post op and started using it again 9 days post op so im hoping i dont get any if i stick to using it day and night xx
they actually tell you not to use oils or creams on your breast tissure for two weeks before op to allow the skin to be at its natural moisture best for healing and to minimise the risk of infection.. u can use them after the op so long as u do not put on the incission untill the nurse says its ok ,
make sure you have a v pillow, stuff to read for when u go in slippers comfy easy to pull on clothes zip or button up top, have lots of easy comfy slouch type clothes for resting in after the op, make sure u have some extra pain killers in for after the op just incase have constipation pills as some people get problems after there meds after op, insure you have everything at easy height reach so ur not reaching up after the op, have plenty of water and fresh foods (your skin and belly may feel pretty crap due to the anasetic and antibiotix) have some ice packs in freezer ready incase you feel u need a little soothing during somr of the heeling days(ask nurse about this as some surgons agree some dont) for the drive home take a pillow to place between your self and the seatbelt. oh and dont forget your bras , x
