Advice for after op!

Hi everyone! I had my op yesterday 5th October at about 11am and just need some fellow post surgery gals to chat to about what to expect! I had 350cc over the muscle implants and today am feeling a fair bit of pain! It’s not unbearable just the odd shooting pain and burning across the boobs haha! I’m assuming that’s normal haha? With what I’ve seen so far I’m really happy, but I can’t wait for them to start to take shape because right now they’re like rock hard bullets and look hilarious!! Just wondering what to expect in the new few days? I’m struggling with turning, pulling or pushing anything, bending down and basically most movements lol!

I’m two weeks post op now. And that all sounds pretty normal. It will get easier I found once I got over day 3 it all started to get easier. I was just taking paracetamol from day 5. I still feel like I have something stuck on my chest and my nipples are severely sensitive ? but under and around my nipples are still numb. I still have a little pain in my incisions still. But I’m getting there. My boobs are starting to get squishy now too. I had 375 partials xxx

Is it also normal for some nipples to look as though they’re pointing slightly downwards lol? I’ve read that there are soooo much changes to expect over the new few months, I’m hoping once the implant starts to settle my nipples will be slightly more aligned. How have you found the changes since your op? Xxx

I’m 3 days post op now but I felt almost the exact same after my surgery! The pain is very normal, I’d just say to keep on top of the painkillers so your discomfort is reduced as much as possible. I’d agree that things tend to improve a lot by the third day, so hopefully you’ll be able to move about a bit more by then. My boobs look a bit funny shape wise too but from what I’ve read that sorts itself out over time! xx

Thanks for the reply Sienna! I’m taking co codomol every 4-6 hours and some antibiotics, hopefully in a few days it’ll settle down. Everything feels so tight and at times today I’ve felt like theyre going to explode ? it’s very early days just but can’t wait for when I can take this compression band off, I think that’s causing me the most discomfort! Xx
