Advice for day after op?

Hi girls, finally got my date for my BA the 18th October eek! However, my fella is a bodybuilder and has a bodybuilding competition the day after, I cannot miss it, it involves a lot of sitting down in an arena type event, do you think it would be okay to go? My fella once dated a girl who had a BA and supposedly all she did the next day is lay down in bed because of the pain. I am really good with pain and just wondered about your thoughts?

Pain is different for everyone but personally I couldn’t have left the house at all the next day as it hurt to even try get out of bed, the pain only lasted a couple of days I am post op day 5 now and there is no pain 🙂 xx

I was in discomfort the first day. Not my boobs.. but my back and shoulders hurt loads where the strapping was so tight!
If you have lots of pillows and painkillers you maybe alright? Good luck with it all xx

you won’t be in a lot of pain but you might feel a bit groggy from pain killers and the anaesthetic wearing off still. just take it easy and drink lots of water or i’d say get some lucozade or something to keep your sugar levels up. good luck xxxx

I was in so much pain! When I was 1 day po I felt like I would never move again lol…plus I was really sick! I had a tough recovery thou, coz I caught a sickness bug so I had that to deal with too….good luck x
