Dont tell me i am going mad!!! PLEASE READ I had my addmission time today at 9am, went to the hospital, filled the papers, saw a nurse ,an anaesthesiologist and was waiting for dr c to come, had some questions to ask as ive read here on the forum about double bubble few days ago, and thats been worrying me since then. When i saw dr c first time he had reccomended unders as i have quite thin skin, but today when i saw him and asked about my worries he has changed his mind saying that it would be better overs even if i feel the implant and there is a chance of rippling. If i knew that from day one i wouldnt have started everything. I was shocked and stressed …..Mr c was in rush so left me to decide. I called a nurse in , broke down in tears asked if i can cancel my op. She told me to speak to mya, i did and they said im gonna loose my 1000 deposit plus need to repay my loan as ive already signed the papers. I am so tired and feel sick from everything!!! Any advice girls????you can send me private sms…
Hello sweetheart, your surgeon should have gone through all the risks with you at your original consultation and it should all be written in your notes that he has.
With all cosmetic surgery their comes risk. I decided that the problems that may arise far outweigh my issues and made a fully informed decision to go ahead. It is a small percentage where problems occur but theirs always that chance I suppose that you could be that person. Most problems can be sorted and I understand that mya are pretty good if they do but obviously rippling won’t be sorted.
Have you decided what you are going to do? Can they not resc you for another week to get your head round everything and talk it through more?
Im so gutted, just want my money back 🙁 i now realize that i only can have an uplift with unders as i am empty 34b/c. But i dont want it as so scared of the scars….just feeling so upset at the moment, cos the surgeon’s got me confused !!!
You do seam really ill informed, anyone can make mistakes but they def need to offer you a full refund!
Get your surgeon to come and have a talk with you! and stand up for yourself, babe theres nothing worse than being confused at a time like this but try and stay relaxed, ill private message you my number if you need to talk text me okay!! xx
I think I would arrange to see the surgeon again as talking things through with him again without him being in a rush might make things clearer for you. At the moment it doesn’t seem like you’re sure what is the best option for you and why and you’re not confident what’s the right decision. In which case it probably wouldn’t have been sensible for you to go ahead with the op there and then under pressure.
He should have gone through the pros and cons of the op in general and things more specific to you such as placement and size and made sure you understood these fully before agreeing to the op. With him suddenly changing his mind on the day from what you were expecting and after you’d signed the paper work I think it’s unfair that they’re saying you’ve still got to pay if you haven’t had chance to think about the proposed change, which it doesn’t sound like you have. I would try to explain that to them and take it further into a proper complaint if you have to. Maybe the surgeon can have some influence about the financial situation if he agrees it wasn’t the right time to go ahead?
Good luck hun. x
