Advice please

I didn’t managed to make my post op appointment I’m now 2 weeks post op and have a stich coming out either side of my incsions and there tied together not sure if its ment to be like it ill upload a pic x

Hiya, as the swelling goes down sometimes the stitches can stick out. Nurse trimmed mine so as not to catch on my bra, I wouldn’t recommend you do this yourself as it’s easy to pick up infection at this stage. I would try and pop in to see your nurse hun, hope this helps xx

No it’s not that there sticking out there knotted together as in a little bow lol x

Wow it really is a bow! It’s like you have a gift wrapped boob! Nice incision btw looks very neat. I’d send a pic to your nurse I can’t imagine it being a problem just be cautious not to catch it until you see her xx

It’s really weird lol but not heard from them I couldn’t make the appointment because the train is usually 2 hours but for some reason it was gonna take 4 hours its was day after Boxing Day and they changed my time 5 times so I was unsure of time I was actually ment to go can i go to my doctors and ask them or do I need to contact mya? X

I think your look great yours are hidden mine arnt there not quite under my boob more of my stomach lol and I had dr chanterzak he’s known for his neat incisions x

I still have stitches coming out both of my incisions and I’m 6 week post op my sister in law is a district nurse and she had to cut some of mine and I still have more there

The longer stitches stay in the better generally so if I were you I would contact mya for a post op appointment no rush and in the meantime make sure you don’t catch them. Trust me they won’t be doing any harm at all (but by two weeks for sure they have done their job now) xxx

I know lmy partner was like Ermmm why are they tied up like that lol @Chanel I’m fine been fine since day 3 pretty much still sore by my ribs on both sides boobs are starting to feel squishy what about you how’s the Mitchell brothers doing lol x

Lol u asked nurse why like that?.. ye im doin well thanks.. been ok since day 3 too apart from very sensitive nipples last week but their not to bad now calmed down n like u said ribs feel bit sore when cough or owt like that xx @jade

No I haven’t seen anyone since my surgery as I couldn’t make my 10 day post op appointment and I’ve not heard anything since not sure if I’m ment to call or if I should just wait for them to call me you boobs look massive wish I had 525cc @Chanel

Oh asif well u would of thought they would of called ya but then again from what see on hear are bit slack at it. I had my post op app at 6days and booked again for 6 week on 24th jan.. I cant believe were 15days po already going fast. What size did u get again xx @jade

Its very important you attend all your post operative appointments any future problems may cause you to lose your aftercare,
If travel is an issue Id advise you to call up the clinic and rebook for somewhere closer to you in your area.
I do know for new years they are now on leave till next week! If you do have any concerns that need to be seen asap call the emergency number x

@candybabey ill give them a call next Monday and see if I can make a appointment as dont wanna lose my aftercare also it made it difficult because they changed my time 5 times and then the time I was told was still wrong as got an email the day before saying a diffrent time so was a bit all over the place but ill call them as want to make sure everything is healing well thank you how is the healing process going for you x

Oh thanks for asking, I’m now 12 days post op today, I feel great can do anything and everything since I’d say post op day 2, Im having the burning sensation atm on surface of my skin and very tender and sore to touch I haven’t softened as yet neither so still waiting that to happen and I gets the morning boobie which is uncomfortable, but all this will be worth it! Wbu
How your progressing now? X

I’m fine now other the boobs being basically numb there pretty soft aswell got movement to them already incsions are amazing aswell it looks like a hair lol can’t wait to wear normal bras fed up of sports bra x
