Advice please

Hi guy ,

Those that used mya for finance, my pc said I don’t have to pay my deposit until after my consultation. I did my finance application tonight and got approved but it asked me to pay my deposit now? She said that I would pay £500 to book my date, and the rest of the deposit no later than 22 days before the op. I have heard wrong or is that correct? My consultation is next Thursday she’s off on Fridays so I thought I would ask on here as a bit worried now.

I’m using MYA finance to pay for mine. I had my op two weeks ago. I paid my deposit of £500 when I booked the surgery date after I saw my surgeon. So you won’t need to give any money before you book an op date. You’ll have an initial consultation, surgeon consultation, perhaps another consultation & then you’ll pay. Your PC will go through it with you but theres no urgency at all 🙂 xx

Thank you!!! I was so happy that I was approved, but then I was like omg I don’t want to pay the deposit before I’ve met with the surgeon and I thought that’s what she said, the application won’t expire or anything then in the meantime?

Nah it won’t expire unless you leave it agessss and agesss. I’m sure your nurse or pc will fill you in anyway 🙂
