I’m booked in for surgery at the Fitzroy on 12th April with Dr.Giannas. I’m having 450/500cc high profile, over the muscle in each breast to correct assymetry. I’m borderline lift, mild ptosis, stage 1. Dr Giannas was happy to go ahead with the implants, no uplift but I’m worried about them sagging early with the weight of the implants I’m having! Did anyone else have breasts similar to mine and didn’t go for an uplift? I’d rather not have one but understand the implications later on if I don’t!

I was so similar to you. Had asymmetry and borderline needing an uplift before my surgery. I was due to have 475cc and 500cc high profile overs but in the operation they couldn’t fit the larger implant in so I got 425cc and 475cc. I’m really glad I didn’t go for the uplift as I have a great result. The implants have really filled out my breasts, they’re a really good size and they’re definitely not saggy looking at all. Obviously though all boobs will eventually sag, and as we have larger sized implants I have to be realistic to know that I may need an uplift in the future to keep them looking high, but I would rather do this when needed.

The choice is completely up to you but in my case I didn’t have the extra money for the uplift right now so I trusted my surgeons advice and couldn’t be happier x
