Hi all, I’m looking into getting a breast enlargement asap. I’ve wanted this done since I was 13 and am finally at a point where I can afford it, yay!!

Just wanted to ask a few questions about the process and healing etc before I start booking consultations with the surgeon if thats ok?
    1) I’m hoping to go to the London clinic and was wondering how long the wait is between the surgeon visit and the actual surgery? Do I have to pay on the day of the consultation to book the surgery?

    2) Did any of you bring photos to show the surgeon, feeling very weird about printing out a load of boobies! Alternatively, if they let me “try on” the boobs, should I bring clothes to see how they sit under them?! Or am I completely over-thinking this?

    3) How much time off should I book, I work in an office environment and walk to work. No driving, no lifting – easy!

    4) How many follow up appointments are there post-surgery? I live in Kent and getting to London may be an effort, especially if I’m still sore 🙁

Any other tips, hints, advice etc would be great. Extremely nervous about it as I’ve been waiting for 10+ years now!

    Thank you 😀

    1) My wait was 2 months between initial consultation and surgery!

    2) I bought photos to show my surgeon as I had a particular look in mind that I wanted. They have a sports bra and vest for you to try on the different implants but I went out to buy my own sports bra (just a tight cheap one from Primark) and wore a tight tshirt/vest top so I could see the implants better as I felt like their stuff was a little big on me as I’m quite petite.

    3) I work at a desk that sometimes requires lifting and I went back to work after a week but it depends what muscle placement and how well you heal etc. No one can put a time on when you’re going to be okay. I had partials and I’ve got a high pain threshold and had such an easy recovery and felt like a week off was perfect for me.

    4) You have a week post op appointment (with nurse), a 6 week appointment (with nurse) & a 3 month (with surgeon).

Let me know if you have any more questions!! x

Hi Dannii, thank you so much for replying – all really helpful!! How did you know which sports bra size to buy, did you just guess? Also, at what point is payment expected – do I have to pay upfront to book a surgery date?

    Thanks again!! xxx

Hi Rebecca yes you need to pay to book surgery but I think just a deposit will secure your place (I paid 500 deposit straight after surgeon consultations to secure my place) and then I think they need the full amount 56 days before surgery if I remember correctly. Hope that helps xxx
