Advice please? Swelling… One bigger than the other

Hi ladies

So I’m 8 days po, I had one larger implant in the left and it seems to be so swollen and higher than the right one… It’s also giving me some shooting pains

Has anybody had a similar experience… Do they eventually look the same? Has anybody got at pictures of the change.

I’m worrying one is going to permanently be higher and bigger. Xx

I’m two days post op and having a similar sort of freak out. Every time I have a peak down my bra i notice the left one is much bigger then the right one. I had same size implant in each one. 275cc round unders. I’m praying that it’s just more swelling on the left one and will eventually be the same size! Did you find out if it’s normal? Xx

@georginarios I am 20DPO and had 2 different implant sizes. I’m more of the opposite, my boob with the smaller implant is bigger than the other one still. However the difference was a lot worse at the start, I think the swelling is settling down now and they are evening out.

With you saying one sits higher, they will drop, generally at different rates. My surgeon said to think of them both as two different operations that are healing separately xx

I had 375cc unders on Saturday and I too have one side larger than the other, I’m hoping that it’s just due to swelling, can I ask if you also had unders as I hope it’s to do with the muscles relaxing x

@stephcp swelling is completely normal, would you say that you had even breasts before surgery? Or was one slightly bigger? It’s probably just ones healing quicker than the other one, try not to focus to much on it right now (I know that’s hard!) but it’s definitely a patience game lol. Xx

I had partials, I’m 2 weeks post op, one is still bigger but I will worry about it if it’s still the same in 6 weeks lol. Patience!

Ah thanks for replying. I have been reading posts on here all morning lol. Guna have to learn to be patient with this! Yeah I didn’t really have anything before, I would say with what very little I had maybe one Had a little more but not that you could see a difference you know. So was a huge shock to see how big one was and how small the other was. I noticed yesterday that the bigger one had more pain in it through out the day. So hopefully it is just swelling. Xx

@hannahlaura hi Hannah, I feel I am having the same problem as you. My bigger implant looks smaller than my larger implant. How did yours settle in the end?
