advice pls girls

Hey. Im 3 wks 3 days post op. Im feeling fine, but i still have stiches in my scars? Quite a few on my left.. in the bath i think one of my stiches came out and when my hubby looked at them there was some puss and a lil hole. The next day i then had dried puss in bra (sorry) hubby looked and said hole had closed up and couldnt see any more puss.. should i be worried?
They dont hurt, scars seem to be looking good.. still have a scab at end of one… i just dont want to get worried over nothing.
Anyone had anything similar?

Just keep Eye on it and use something on it to kill the germs x

You shouldn’t be having baths that early….i was advised no sooner than 6 weeks!!

If you don’t have a shower you can have a shallow bath but you just can’t submerge them, I’m the same and it’s fine I just wash by hair back with a jug. I would just keep an eye on it my nurse said its fine to have stiches showing if they are still there at your 6 week check they can trim them down for you xxx

My nurse told me stitches can take up to 3 months to dissolve but should only shower for the first 6 weeks xx

Oh i told my nurse i didnt have a shower and couldn’t wait to have a bath and she didn’t say I couldn’t? I saw her 7 days after to remove strapping, she put steri strips on incisions and told me to have a bath 2 days later and that they would come off in the bath…
so i shouldnt be having proper baths then? Oh no!!

With showers your meant to let the water run over you but not to Spend to long n there baths no chilling out in there as the germs from the body will go on your scarring so really just a small qick bath out u get x

Oh bugger!! Ok for next 3 wks i will just have shallow baths… hope i havent caused any damage etc.. as im loving my beauts! No pain or anything. Xx

Just clean it and keep dry the puss that come out could of just been the scabs as they wear in water for two longxx
