Advice pls!!! Unders – does it make the implant look smaller?

My surgery is next tuesday. Am 34a/aa and want to be a full C cup. Did the rice test thing with the bags and 325 feel like they will be a tat too big . 295 feels perfect but now I’m worried that once I have the op that the 295 will look smaller coz I’m going for under the muscle.. Anyone maybe have advice for me regards to this or who had similar experience.

aparently u loose about 10% of the protection with unders. but some people said to me the undersea can look biger once the muscle and all the settles. i has 365cc unders 2 weeks ago sometimes i feel huge n other time i don’t. it really is a hard call. have to admit the way i looked it is its goto be easier to have another.op to go bigger still that to have another.op to go smaller. although i wouldn’t actually want to do either lol.

My surgery is next tuesday 29th also and im having overs, I always assumed that i would have unders because i am a small size 6 but Mr traynor who is my surgeon has suggested i go for overs. He has also given me sizes 295, 325 and 345. Im a bit unsure about what to go with. Im tossing and turning between 325 and 345 and i want to look as natural as possible.What is the rice test that ypu have done?

At first they look smaller, but you don’t lose anything with unders; the muscle makes them appear bigger as there’s an extra layer there. Don’t listen to the rumours hunny, your new boobs will look great and big 🙂 (trust me on this, iv had unders and overs, and they look the same) xx

Thank you @joannabella for the reassurance. @haylea my doctor told me that the weight of rice is equivelant to cc. So I made my own booby bags by weighing down 295g of rice and 325g of rice. went onto the mentorgel site to get the exact measurements of these 2 implant sizes and l made my two booby bags. It just gives you an idea because he did not have any High profile samples the day I went to him. Walked around the house with it for a bit and the 325 looks like its gonna be a LITTLE bit too big. Im also still tossing and turning between the 2 though. He told me to come in an hour before I go down to the hospital just to double check. He is ordering both. In beginning I just wanted BIG. But now Im starting to think that maybe the 295’s wont be such a bad idea. I also want it to look natural still. Yes the 325 will be a sexy look , but Im very active and gym a lot so dont want to be uncomfortable when I jog and workout. But Im still very unsure… Im basically 50/50. Told myself I must stop worrying now and next tuesday when I go to the doc and finally fit these 2 sizes I will see what it looks like and ask my surgeons opinion. Only concern was just that under the muscle will push them down a bit and make them look smalller but if Joannabella whos had both says they dont then then All is good. How you feeling @Haylea ? jeez I cant believe its just 8 more sleeps!! Im soooooo excited!

Hi Yolande, I had 340 unders from 34a. Know it’s not same size as you are considering but sure not too much different. There is a pic on my profile of around 12 days post op if you wanted to see how they appear. I only was offered 1 size so was much easier for me as Hun. It may help u 🙂 x

@redbullqueen I did have a look at your pics yesterday already hun and they look damn hot! I like the look of big boobs, its def very sexy but I should go with what Im gonna be comfortable in. At this moment it is Sexy vs Comfort. And Im torn between the two cause I def wana look sexy. but not stupid sexy. Only weigh 55kg and am 1.75 cm tall. And then I also think 295 to 325 is only a 30cc difference…. aaargghh Im really still so confused.

Thanks Hun. I am happy so far. They do suit my frame & totally understand what you are saying about wanting them to look as natural as possible. I didn’t want massive boobs that were really obvious wouldn’t suit me. Hope you come to a decision soon Hun, there is so much to consider at times feels like your heads going to burst lol x

I think its dependant on person to person, I have unders and when I look at some people with the sane size overs there’s look bigger and fuller than mine. If it helps I’m 55.5kg and 5ft6 I had 380s then had them replaced with 460cc neither have looked big on me. The 380 rice test I did however did look bigger then what the actual 380 implants did once inside. I think 30cc is a very little difference so go with what you feel xxx

I was set I was having 265, until I met the one surgeon I trusted the most who measured my thourouly and worked out what would suit my frame! Which was 345 which seemed massive but there not I was morebworried about beingtoo big than too small……it depends on the profile of the implant too eg low medium high….. Good luck with your decision…ps I had unders and go gym a lot and no one has noticed and they don’t feel heavy 🙂

@Yolande. Im sooo nervous, and excited all at one i cant believe this time next tuesday will be the day! Whcih hospital are you going to and who was your surgeon again? I tried on both 325 and 345 at the clinic and there wasnt a huge difference which makes me think about going with the 345. Im also more worried about looking to big rather than too small, im quite thin and obviously being thin i want them to look natural. When i look at some girls pics with the same size and overs they look masive but then i will look at some girls with a bigger size and they dont look as big. I know it all depends on the individual and i cant stop ovbsessing over it lol..
@lauren you went with 345cc? was it unders or overs, what size are you now?

Hey Yolande, when I was choosing a size I tried on 295cc and 325cc full profile in the sizer things at the consultation (plus the one below 295 but can’t remember the exact size cos I didn’t really consider it). My surgeon recommended no bigger than 295cc for my specific measurements, tissue and structure to have the best long term result so I went with that in the end.

The only real difference between 295cc and 325cc is in the width of the implant rather than projection and I could barely tell the difference (but in my case my surgeon thought it was becoming too wide for my pocket) so I can’t imagine 325cc would look too big or unnatural for you by the sounds of your frame. I was 32A, 8st2 and only 5ft2. I did the rice test too and I think they looked bigger in that than when I’ve had the actual implants in but it’s only meant to be a rough guide and it’s hard keeping the exact same dimensions of the implant in rice form!

The 30cc difference isn’t that much and the difference will be in fullness or shape rather than final cup size. x

@lauren2012 and @candyfloss can I pls add u girls? @haylea I’m from south africa so my surgeon is based in cape town. Unfortunately I’m not doing it at any of the mya hospitals there in the UK. Would of been fun if we were in same hospital on same day 🙁 I knooooooow its so confusing when u look at some girls with exact same implants but one is way bigger than the other one, even though they looked quit similar and equally flat to begin with. 6 more sleeps for the both of us. Eeeek. I’m still so muddled up bout the size that I’m not really nervous bout the operation itself yet. @lauren2012 thanx a lot for ur input. Its like u say there’s not a big difference in the projection of these 2 sizes. I’m just gonna go in the mornn of my op and run it through with my surgeon and finally fit the 2 actual sizes coz he did not have any high profile samples . So will make my final decision then. Xxx

Hi Hun, I would go with the biggest as not alot of difference. I had 295cc unders high profile and uplift. My surgeon advised 295 as 340 would drop more ? I was a 32b now 32e/f dependant on make of bra. They look like a d though. I did the rice test too and they were bigger than implant I found too. You will look great I’m sure. 🙂

Yeh trust your surgeon……I didn’t use mya either as didn’t connect with any of the surgeons I had consults with, plus after researching found that nearly all their surgeons aren’t reconstructive surgeons which is what I wanted, ( someone who specializes in breast surgery), ……I had under the muscle in the end which I’m glad I did as I think the implant would be visible as I lacked breast tissue. Good luck with your surgery I was fine after op just felt like I had done a heavy gym session! But it took a good week to start feeling better, I would get really tired so listen to your body and take it easy and rest xx

Hi Yolande, did you have a look at my pics – I’m happy with my 300, and Im a bigger frame and size than you. Im active too, and when I take the sports bra off now, they are soooo heavy! Im a keen runner too, and I worried about starting up again – gonna neeed lot of support! Go with your gut instinct – it sounds to me that you are leaning towards the 295cc, only you can make the right choice for you. Goo luck hunx x x
