Advise on how long to wear macom ?

Hi ladies, I’m looking for advice on wearing the macom bra post op. I had 485 overs 15 days ago and smelling etc has gone down and starting to feel comfortable now. However I find the macom extremely uncomfortable and restricting and it feels so much better when I take it off. I was advised by my surgeon to wear it day and night for three months! But I can’t see me lasting that long.. how long does everyone else normally wear it for? I don’t want to break the rules but justbso uncomfortable :-/

I think you just need to wear a sports bra or post surgery bra, it does not have to be the macom. I am 10 days post op and I have changed into a front-zip sports bra form M&S, its so comfortable and more flattering when i put clothes on. I went a band size up to make it more comfortable. I was told to wear this 24/7 for 6 weeks, until my 6 week check up, then after that we can go into normal bras as long as they dont have underwire x
