Advise on nails for OP please

Has anyone kept on acrylics for op? Just without any pain/gel?? X

They will make u take them off, they use the colour of your natual nail to monitor the blood flow ect x

I was allowed to keep mine on, they checked to see if it picked it up through my nail (which it did) but he said he would use my ear lobe if there was a problem x

I had mine off because MYA said if I turned up with them on they might cancel surgery????

If you’re with MYA I would definitely remove them as they’re quite strict and you don’t want to risk anything just because of acrylics x

I’m not with Mya and have been told can’t have anything on nails, not even clear gel x

I have been told the same to remove nails because they could cancel your op. I was actually wondering about gel on toes though if your allowed them or not? X

I was told nothing on hands or feet which is horrible I feel naked without my toes done! x

My op is tomorrow and I was told to take off my acrylics and to remove nail varnish. For the sake of a day it’s just best to take them off. Especially with acrylics I wouldn’t risk going with them on and being turned away just because of your nails!
