After care service not great

Hey guys I am 3 weeks post op today, and up until now my experience with MYA has been amazing! Everyone was great and everything went so smoothly!! I was terrified about having my boobs done but it’s the best decision I have ever made! I have hated and loved my boobs throughout the last 3 weeks I was a small 32b before the op and got measured yesterday as a 32 E I only wanted to be a D haha so I’m amazed! I was offered 325 350 and 375 and has been reading everyone’s opinions and they all said to go for the biggest I changed my mind last minute and went for the 325!! And I’m so glad I did they are huge!!! And changing every day! So honestly girls be patient! The last couple days I’ve been getting shooting pains in my right boob and they are so tender and sore, up until now I haven’t really had any pain! ‘ minus the first initial couple days after op! I’m
Worried I have tried to do too much too quickly and done some damage! I tried ringing MYA 8 times today and couldn’t get through when I eventually did the receptionist said she would get a nurse to call me- I waited all day and nothing, my nearest clinic is Bristol and I live in Devon so it’s not as if I can just pop on!! Also my one week check up was cancelled x5 times which was a joke which resulted in my strapping being left on for an extra week as I couldn’t get to the clinic for the de scedualed appointment!! When I eventually had my check up I was 2 weeks post op and my appointment was so rushed! I forgot to ask all the questions I wanted too about birth control pill, how long I need to sleep upright for, alcohol, bathing loads of things left unanswered!! And nobody has even called me to ask how I’m getting on or anything, before I had paid them any money tho I was getting texts emails and phone calls every couple days, sorry for the essay!! My point is I paid a lot of money for this and although I’m happy with results and everything has been great! The after care has not and that should be the most important part!!! Rant over!!! Xxxxxx

They look amazing!! 🙂 I bet your well happy. I was told 2 weeks after you can start the pill again. Alcohol is fine, I drank alacohol 3 days after my op just didn’t take any medication in case it made me feel funky lol. You can shower at 2 weeks if the nurse gave you the all clear? I prefer baths tbh. Shallow baths (not high so your scars are not soaked in the water) and use a sponge to wash and scrub up top as it’s fine for the water to run down over the boobs. I’ve just had my 6 week check and clean to finally lay down and soak in the bath haha yay 🙂 you need to sleep upright for 2 weeks after then you can lay flat. I started sleeping on my side at 3 weeks post op and now comfortably laying on my front top at 6 weeks.

Just call your nurse or the reception at your clinic and demand you have somebody talk to you as you have so many important questions and you are really worried something has gone wrong. If the pain is so unbareable go to your nearest a&he to be safe Hun! Good luck 🙂 xx

I’m very pleased Hun I can’t wait to buy some bikinis and bras ???????? thankyou for all your advice! I will call again tommorow and demand someone sees me!!! I have naturally been rolling over on to my side as that’s how I usually sleep! I’m sure everything is fine- I just would have thought after 3 weeks I wouldn’t be getting any pain xxxxxxxx

You look great Emily !! That’s a shame hearing about the after care service …i would want a company who looks after their customers before and after !!!i hope you get through to them and good luck ????

That sucks that you’ve had bad aftercare. I’m at the Bristol clinic too but haven’t had the same problems. Fay is one of the PCs there and is also the regional manager so if you’ve got a complaint then I’d speak to her.

OMG im panicking now that my 350cc are going to be way to big, I only want a C .. yours look lovely. I hope you get to speak to somebody but in the mean time I dont think you should actually be worried to much, your still in the healing process and I imagine your using your arms more now so should expect to feel some pain. Have a look on real self there are docs on there that answer your questions, or google your question, thats wat ive been doing with mine.. hope your ok x

Hiya hun im 11dpo now an i have had calls an texts when i just had my op an they checked on me as i did have few problems
I was told any issues email my PC. You should have all emails from them from each time you made a consultation,

Try ring 01132031200 had a women called jade phone yesterday from customer service an wanted to make sure after care etc is okay an im happy. Try that.
You shouldnt feel like you cant talk to them, they are there for you.. Or even instagram message them i did an got responded within 2 seconds lol.
