AFTER RHINO

GIRLS/BOYS! so how long after does the splint come off? how long did it take your bruising to go? how did you feel coming around after the op? anyone with a wide bridge notice a big difference to their face? no longer lines under your eyes? x

Hey Megan, I had my op last July – open rhino with Dr G. The splint comes off at about 13 days (Dr G insists on having it for the full amount of time!) bruising takes about 3 weeks to go down completely, although i was safe to go out of the house at 2 weeks. I had a wide bridge, droopy tip, dorsal hump…the works! check my pictures, you’ll see the difference 🙂 Good luck its an amazing experience! xxx

Yeah the longer the splint stays on the better however its roughly 12days.
My bruising went within two weeks with the use of arnica cream which is worth getting from tesco!. I had a wide bridge and a slight hump which made my nose triangle sort of.. I noticed that my face looked alot slimmer and more of a jaw line… Feel free to add me – im 9months open rhino xx
