after surgery for BA …..

Hi! I was wondering after the surgery for BA how many days does it take approx that one can carry some weight… bend down to pick up something… what I really need to know is how many days after op that one can go back to do the normal activities…thank you so much for your advice…

I need to know that as well, I hope we can get back to our daily activities after one week!

Hey ladies,
I’m 9!days post op and would say in back to do all my normal activities! I would probably say from day 8 I was fine! Now I have no pain/ache apart from a twinge every now and again around my incisions (assume from where its healing/knitting together!)

I’m back at work tomorrow (2 1 week off)

I was back to normal after day 5 but still didn’t do much even though I felt fine as I didn’t want to risk my incisions opening. Even tho u feel fine it’s best to do nothing for atleast a week. I go back to work tomorrow after 2 weeks off which has been good but I don’t think I needed so long off. But everybody is totally different x

Hey! I’m 6 days post op today and although I’m 70% better than I was I couldn’t go back to work tomorrow after a week. I had quite a bad recovery though and first three days were horrendous. I still struggle with doing things like flushing loo and still can’t tie my hair up by myself and lifting things is still an issue. Hopefully this will change in next couple of days but like the girls said everyone heals completely differently. 🙂
