After the op how much does it hurt??

How much pain is involved after the operation??

I had my op yesterday and i had 375hp partials. And reading on here i thought i was going to be in so much pain. Well iv only had paracetamol and been up wlaking around a couple of hours afger surgery the only place im sore is my incisions i have full movement of my arms can place them on my head. I thinkit depends on how high your pain threshold is. But a day after im fine but days 3-4 are ment to be the worst xx

I’m on day 4 now. I’m a real wimp so for me it’s been quite hard but I’ve managed so u will be fine!!!

I had my ba on a Saturday and the next day I was doing a Sunday roast xx

I haven’t found it ‘painful’ as such just annoying getting comfortable. I wish I had known about the fact that it can play havoc with your emotions though! X

Well for me it was painful. I mean I suppose more uncomfortable more than anything but mainly because I have had to have a breast band which means I can’t breathe as it’s so tight. That’s the thing that’s been the most painful and I have to have it for a month. I’m 9 days post op at the mo and it’s still not overly comfortable. For me my mood has been very up and down. Feeling that I can take the uncomfortableness one minute and then later in the day just frustrated because I want a break from it.. Even just five minutes and I can’t. I knew it wouldn’t be a breeze so am just trying to take it day by day.

Sorry didn’t mean that to sound so negative! Basically it’s not great but it will be worth it (well it better be!) xx
