How soon do I have to stop drinking alcohol before the op? Having BA on 30th and have a party on the 27th!

I was told 48 hours before hun xx

All of the paperwork you get given says 2 weeks, which is what I did and it was a killer considering the beer garden weather we’ve been having

Alcohol takes 48 hours to get out of your system so I’d say 48 hours before. X

My PC told me 48hrs. I think the nurses over egg things a bit? I’m sure it’s ok for a couple, just jot a heavy sesh!! X

My Nurse said 2 weeks 🙁 I cant get hold of my PC to check either xxx
